Anyone running a MAFless tune? Unitronic perhaps?

So could anybody, theoretically, move their maf over to where Shane has it? Even on a regular OTS tune, would it work? Does it affect performance in any way?

Right the pros cons of
Each make them equal in my mind.

I've been told tubular can flow more volume, but log is shorter and flows faster.
Then it's durability of log, I guess you could ceramic coat either or, and then of course tubular looks better lol

Outlet is 2.5" or 3", why does it matter that you have 4" of tubular manifold?

4"?! Usually they are matched up as close as possible (or one step bigger) than the exhaust port on the head and the fact that the dia isnt huge and doesnt make sharp bends makes it have a higher velocity. I have also heard both ways that the length being equal helps power, and the plenum result of a log makes more power with the engines pulses (give/take like driveshafts with u-joints keeping the start and finish angle parallel if you understand what I mean).

yes but you have to gut the PCV system and clean your intercooler(s) since oil makes MAFs angry.
I want to do it too JR! Then do a creative intake system.
