    So could anybody, theoretically, move their maf over to where Shane has it? Even on a regular OTS tune, would it work? Does it affect performance in any way?

    4"?! Usually they are matched up as close as possible (or one step bigger) than the exhaust port on the head and the fact that the dia isnt huge and doesnt make sharp bends makes it have a higher velocity. I have also heard both ways that the length being equal helps power, and the plenum result of a log makes more power with the engines pulses (give/take like driveshafts with u-joints keeping the start and finish angle parallel if you understand what I mean).

    yes but you have to gut the PCV system and clean your intercooler(s) since oil makes MAFs angry.
    I want to do it too JR! Then do a creative intake system.
