Hey guys,
I was driving on the highway last night and all of a sudden out of nowhere my engine decided to start bugging out. It was comparable to the sound of a snlowblower/powerwasher when you have it set on choke to start it up. As I would give it gas it would react slightly but it almost felt like there were just pockets of power. It was like the RPMs were bouncing up and down but I didn’t see much movement on the guage.
I threw the car into neutral to see if the engine would catch itself and it did for a while. I decided towards the end of the drive to step on the gas and a little after I did that the same thing started to happen. I have been noticing some hiccups once and a while but nothing crazy. I wasn’t sure if I had sludge blocking the fuel pump since I tend to run my tank a little low.
The car is an 2008 Audi A4, Tip, 50k Miles.
