Wow..is it just me or does it look so bright it might induce a seizure lol...nevertheless looking good Sin!

The weather hasn't been the best with the rain and humidity to re-do the roof..but gave my car a much needed wash today (been almost 8 weeks since it was washed >.<!) even though it may rain tomorrow

They arent as bright as the picture represents. Shooting in the dark with the 35mm with no flash and ISO set to 1600 keeps the shutter open for a long time. But you get the idea. I REALLY like the way it turned out.

^^^Not really sure the reasoning behind that pic he posted. It looks nothing like your (or mine) interior lights nor am I sure what it actually represents.

Maybe he is trying to support his ghetto belief in interior LED lighting???

Lights look great Sin. Nice and clean.

My wife made a comment last night. "It just goes with the car to have these LED lights". The interior just looks better and Audi should have put them in to begin with.

Despite my slight back injury today with my wheels, I'm a happy camper.

    1. Was finally reunited with my wheels after a 3.5 week stint at the shop getting fixed.

    2. Came home to this wonderful box

    3. And shortly after, I put in my order for the license plate lights :)

Had the Adams rotors installed today. I think they look great. I did not have time to paint the calipers so that will be the next project when I have some time in a couple of weeks. I removed the inner dust shields for a cleaner look and I also had Akebono Euro Ultra-Premium ceramic brake pads installed as well. I am taking it easy on the brakes to get a good set-in but I can already feel a difference in braking.

Looking real good, i likey! Mine will hopefully be going on on Tuesday if all goes according to plan. Are there any negatives to removing your inner dust shield?

Can't wait to get mine on!

Thanks! Painting the calipers will really finish off the look. As for removing the dust shields, my mechanic was the one who recommended they be removed for aesthetics. I highly doubt he would do so if there were negative consequences. I have to admit, it does look more tidy with them gone.

Sin I need your help!!! I got my license LED's later in the day today and I figured I'd put them on night for the perfect before and after shots..problem is, I can't even get the dam screws to twist!! I tried everything, even tried attaching the head to a power drill and they wouldn't budge ..did yours give you a hassle too or did they come off easily?

I had no issue with mine. Get some WD-40 and spray the screws and let them sit for a few minutes and then give it a try. The humidity and salt air in Miami may have caused some corrosion which in turn has frozen the screws. Be carfull not to strip the heads though.

They were a pain for me also. I replaced them with galvanized screws after I got them out.

I used a system called RAC ParkMe. It works using an electromagnetic strip on the inside of the bumper.. Invisible to the eye and zero maintenance.. only took me 30mins to install and even has an led display that I've mounted above the rear windscreen... looks great and for less than £20... :)

    Perrrtyyy. Nicely done.

Just realized last night why my intake may not be performing as well as I hoped. The snowscreen is still in the upper snorkel, that needs to be removed. Hopefully things will improve with that. Will report back.

Did you wash your car yet???? Maybe Alym can give you some tips <JK>
I hope that the snow screen removal ups the performance of the intake. I look forward to your report?

No wash yet. Planning on this Sunday. Weather is supposed to be perfect. I'll make sure to do some before and afters to prove my detailing abilities

Snow screen may indeed be the issue. Would make sense. There's no reason the intake should not perform well. All restrictions were eliminated and the head shield seems to do a good job. I think the upper intake needs to be adjusted and things will improve. With the stock box, the snorkel was likely sucking more air out of there despite there being restrictions since it created a sort of vacuum. Now, without something directly sucking the air, there is likely very little coming in. I'm going to gut the upper intake tract and let air flow freely through it.
