Nothing! Its at the dealership getting the fuel pump replaced. However, R8 rims and LED lighting kit are going on next week. Just have exhaust, coilovers, and brake rotors to replace and I am done. Corvette is for speed.

Got my first tickets in the C7. 110% my fault and 110% avoidable, FIRST TIME EVER I didn't have a radar in the car and I get hit. Was leaving a shopping plaza and merged onto a road with 4 lanes, dropped into sport mode and opened up the car and drove "aggressively", cut across 3 lanes to take my exit and exceeded well above the speed limit on the off ramp....unfortunately that is when I saw a speeding blue police car coming fast right behind me, right away I pulled over, keys on dash, car off, hazards on, PBA/license/reg out.

The officer comes up to me and asks me what the rush was, said I was facing a possible 8 tickets. Threw my PBA in the back seat and took my information. I knew I was SOL and I deserved it 100%. The worst part was how I was stopped near a traffic light so all the people that I had passed were all looking at me.

She came back and gave me two tickets, 60 in a 40 and unsafe lane change, both equal 7 pts. If convicted of the 7 pts my insurance premium will rise at least $1800-$2000, I will be forced to pay NYS $350 a year for the next 3 years, and the tickets will cost me $400. The officer told me to plead not guilty and I will negotiate with the prosecutor on my court date and they will drop the tickets to a lesser charge and I will end up paying around $700.....but at least no points. I had the same thing happen 10 months ago, I was caught by laser doing 81 in a 55 (Cross Bronx Expressway), 6 pts ticket, court dropped it to a littering ticket (no points, $300 fine).

What did I learn? No point in speeding and driving like a dick, that 30 second adrenaline rush is now going to take a toll on my wallet. Until this weekend, I had saved up a small amount of money for new wheels+springs, now that money is going to the state. No more mods for a loooooong time.

That was my weekend lol.

All of the sudden, the trooper pulls behind me, literally tailgating as if he wanted to race me lmaoooo he stayed there for about 3 minutes, than flew by me and gave me a look. Then I sure went 56 on 55 loll. 10 miles up I saw him parked waiting for me.

The only reason , I think, he didn't pull me over the first time, he didn't cclock me and had no evidence of the speed. But just saw me. I guess my luck.

Damn my 4.2 is way too tempting not to step it at times.

I am sure she did but she said nothing, said nothing about the no front plate either. Anyways, I went to court today to get my court date and the court literally has 18 year old stuck up bitches working for them, pretty much they told me to mail it in or GTFO. Finally after getting ahold of someone who was older than 18 the lady said I can put anyones address on it and they would just mail it there, I am going to put my friends address.

On a second note, spent a good two hours detailing the car and went to the CIA (Culinary Institute Of America) for lunch (about a 1 hour drive) and a bird unleashed a massive crap storm all over my car :(, one of the bird crap etched into the paint, tried using goo gone, wax, polish, nothing is working.....claybar my only option?

My vinyl for the tails+amber reflectors arrived today! Can't wait to put that on!

VAGCOM can't change the factory limiter. ECU tune is the only way to remove the limiter.

The tails are painted since there are no precut films for them (as you have found out). As for he ST coil overs, I am not running them. Evil-o is and he loves them. They are the same as the KW internally, but the body is made of galvanized steel instead of stainless. Not an issue if you keep the car clean from winter road salt, etc.

As for the rotors, why EBC and not Adams? I ordered Adms rotors for mine in slotted and dippled also. Should be here n a week or so.

Got a few more tickets today. Can anyone believe my luck? I was with some family on the Southern State parkway stuck in stop and go traffic when I saw a new Jaguar XF pulled over by a unmarked black crown vic, making a mental note of the car, I continued driving. About 3 miles later I saw the same car cutting in and out of traffic and it managed to get in front of me, 5 min later I was stopped next to the undercover and I see the guy look at me and at that point I had that sinking feeling, as soon as I started moving he cut the car off behind me and put the siren on.

Comes up and asks me for my information, measures my window tint, tells me to sit tight, 50 min later (took 50 min) he comes big with a bundle of papers. I received three tickets, 2 window tint tickets, one no front plate. Its fixit, have 24 hours (not including tomorrow since its July 4th) to get my violations "fixed", luckily I know people lol. Just a annoying hassle as I will have to go back to the city to get it signed off.

Still though I can't believe my luck. The dude pulled me over for no reason, you NEED a reason OTHER THAN tints to get pulled over, you can't just get pulled over for tint, oh well what can I do? As soon as I started my car he was off and pulling over a S550 with dark tint.

I feel like this cop was a total douchebag, he was singling out tinted cars for no reason, I guess I was such a threat to the public. Cop did a fine job protecting and serving the community. I saw many other drivers while I was pulled over texting and on the cell phone, no one ever gets pulled over for that, oh well what can you do?

Thank you for the info, i appreciate it. I am an Audi-noob, so I was not familiar with the 'Adams' brand of rotors... Everyone please feel free to steer me in the right direction for tuning & aesthetics because I am a MOD-WHORE.

My butt was up at 7.30am today to get my old wheels out of storage. Fixing the wheels is gonna be such a mission, but oh my god I can't stand to look at them the way they are. I'll hopefully try to get pics once their off today (gonna be taking the tires off my wheels, putting them on the old wheels, mount those while I have the new wheels fixed). On a happier note, I shall be ordering my Adam's Rotors hopefully today when I get back from running errands ! (Still unsure with what design, but we'll see!) - one of numerous things to be checked off the list!

I would beat my brother up if he did that LOL. Unfortunately I did that in my TL a few months ago, was trying to be all smooth pulling out of a parking spot, curbed my WHOLE WHEEL literally 3/4th of the wheel, the worst part, at least 40 people saw me do it. FML.

^^^Did you install the LEDs in the trunk? Any issues? Mine comes on for a few seconds after I open the trunk but then go out and flash once a few seconds later. After that, the light stays off.

^^^ i just installed the rest , the ones under the door i had no cable to play whatsoever, so what i did ,i just removed the top cover of the light housing and with small screwdriver, pushed the light out and than pushed the new one in, without removing the cable or the housing. they work fine.

the trunk one, it started working initially, than no life at all. its cause i put the old one back and that one doesnt work either.

another thing i noticed the color is not the same on the front reading light and rear ones too.

You have most likely blown a fuse. I am not sure what the fuse for the C6 (trunk) is, perhaps someone can help us out? As far as color not matching in some cases due to the shape of the housings the LED appear a brighter white while some appear a slightly different shade. This happens sometimes, for example, my door leds don't match my interior LED, the courtesy light housing is totally different than the dome housing, I personally don't mind, but if for you its an issue, I can definitely try to fix this issue. Would you like new bulbs? Perhaps try a more whiter version so we can have them match? Let me know bro!

I actually have a eye condition where exposure to bright light (like headlights) for more than an hour causes me severe migraines.....this is why windshield tint helps me so much. The 50% I have on my A6 is not enough, I still get severe migraines after 2 hours or so, the 35% I have on my daily driver the TL is perfect for me. I am never hassled for tint/plate where I live (Westchester), just Long Island AKA Nassau County......county is so poor, no doubt the cop that pulled me over was a "Revenue Collector" for nassau county LOL.

No worries. I'm not convinced it is the bulb. Neither the new LED or old halogen work. The new LED flashes twice and stays off. Looks like there are a few of us with this issue. I haven't idea the cause as of now.
