    APR 1+ with 380cc injectors

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was trying to search but didnt find any hard facts.

I know that APR recommends using OEM TT225 injectors 386cc. But could I run Bosch 380cc injectors from CTSturbo or will I run into issues?

    TIA

Have you called APR? Maybe they could shed some light on your question.

I think the gist is you can. but its not ideal and your trims might be higher than normal. No major problems unless you already have an issue that would cause fuel trims to max out.

yes, I called but didn't get a clear answer. They only guarantee the software on the 225 injectors. I am going to source a set of those I guess.

If you can get TT injectors I would. The 380s work but the tune is designed for the TT386s. They aren't much more expensive if you look in the right places (Eurocode) or get them used.

Tons of threads but I've yet to read anything of certified substance on this issue. Do what APR says (give or take 'their' brand vs. OEM).

Like a lot of people say with the DV, that 710-N is OEM and doesn't require cleaning the way my Forge does, there is likely some similar like quirk that makes an OEM injector a little better than the APR one...

They only guarantee if you buy the injectors from them and has shit for customer service, here is a sample of my conversation with APR.
The guys from EUROCODE & Achtuning are upstanding and they did right by me. They will have my business.
APR has lost my business because of the terrible customer service. I switched to Unitronic stage 2 and my problems have been somewhat resolved.
Now I am in no way shape or form stating APR products are bad or that APR as a company is bad. I have APR Snub mount and other parts on my car and they are great. But for a product where i may need support i would not buy from them.

*Note: Having had APR and now Having Unitornic, i have more hp and tq before 3000 RPM with UNI. i will tell you that Unitronic software is adaptive it learns based on your driving kind of like the stock ECU. I don't know about APR.

Yes, I know we have injector software for our injectors. I don’t know anything about the injectors you bought or a purported TT225 file on our server.

OK, When I talked to you on the phone you knew exactly what I was talking about.
Is APR Stage 1+ software for the Audi B6 1.8T compatible with the Bosch TT225 Injectors Factory 386cc Injectors that EuroCode is selling?

Bruce I don’t know what the injectors are. We don’t have a tune called TT225 injector tune.

That still didn’t answer my questions.
Does APR or does NOT APR support TT225 injectors?

Can you look to see what file was installed by Achtuning in December?
Can you look that up by my VIN?

    Thanks.

This is the first time I’ve been told of a specific TT225 injector file. Perhaps Greg at Eurocode can help get that file on your car?

    Hey Evan,

I just spoke with Greg from EuroCode, they have received my injectors and they will be testing them for flow.
Speaking with Greg he mentioned that TT 225 injectors are compatible with APR Stage 1+. And that APR Stage 1+ has a specific file for the TT 225 injectors.
Last time I spoke with you, you said that APR does not support TT225 injectors for the Stage 1+ and that the only injector supported is the APR injectors.

I’m confused. Which one is it?
Can you look to see what file was installed by Achtuning ? Can you look that up by my VIN?

    Thank you for your help.
    I appreciate it.
