I think i may have completely D@#$ up my exhaust...took the resonator off..and the stock mufflers. put to flowkings in...i was on a tight budget..don't ask...i know im an idiot. please help on new way to make it not sound so jap tunerish...thing sounds actually ok at idle and low rpm's ...sounds like complete crap about 2500...any suggestions on a new setup.. would gettin rid of the cats and putting in a single muffler like magnaflow or anything make it sound any beter? im totally new to all of this and have no idea what makes this car sound great. also, can't really afford a complete cat back system

Get manga flow mufflers, keep the cats. Ask shop to build an x pipe in the middle. And pipe everything up.... Shouldn't be too expensive.

^ I had the Milltek non-res exhaust before those. I had crazy drone, kept it for a year and then couldn't anymore so I got the APR since they had this RSC technology that cancels drone. I took a risk, and to be honest there is no drone what so ever... that's why i decided to go all APR.

I have the auto. I know auto has more drone than manual..I haven't been in an s5 with AWE but the APR has zero drone, even at low rpm's

Finally got around to taking some videos of the Capristo exhaust. Filmed out the front window with external mic on a cable extension to back bumper outside the car.

Cold start, short run with cold exhaust in Dynamic Sports mode with exhaust flaps in full open mode

Random question guys, does Milltek make exhaust for the S5 4.2 Auto???
everywhere shows manual only, I really only need the downpipes and a member is selling some new ones, still in the box, but now sure if it will match up...or should i just stick with AWE downpipes...if so is anyone selling some?

Remus only makes one axle back system. I'd love to hear a video with harder acceleration as I have been considering Remus purely based on sound.

I commented on the guys video an asked for a harder acceleration, he said that was the purpose of the second video. Then I asked for a video like the first one, but with more acceleration!! He hasn't responded!

Does anyone have experience with the Miltek exhaust for an RS5? I had mine installed and now over bumps it is banging against the center tube under the center console. Is it a fabrication issue from Miltek or is there something that the shop who installed it is missing? Any help would be appreciated.

STaSIS came with the car, i'd like to swap to AWE eventually- i need to sell mine!

FI makes an exhaust but it's known to drone a lot.. this motor is very susceptible to drone, even stock.

you can keep ribbin' me because my smaller 3.0T will leave your 4.2L way behind in the dust!

that vid changed my mind.... i was minutes away from ordering my AWE track and non res DP's, and that vid delayed me... then eventually made me change my mind.

FI exhaust in garage waiting to go on... i'll post before and afters here and on A5OC, i'll try to do both GoPro and my flip camera, (think flip has better sound quality?)
