I'm finding hard to pick right springs for drop cause different models start at different heights.

Trying to figure out which coilovers to go with. I use my A5 as a daily driver and that's about it. I notice almost everyone on here runs H&R street coilovers? Is this the best choice or are there other options for a daily driver?

Any rubbing on this setup with the spacers?? I'm thinking of utilizing spacers with the factory 19" titaniums on my new 2015 S5 cab.

So here's what the work i got done to my S5. Not fully complete yet but it's going in the exact direction I want it to. The profile pic is the current setup. Handles like a dream. No squeaks or bounciness.
Just the right amount of comfort and handling.

They are great for the money.
No problems with install either.

Nice to see someone with a set. I've had my SW coilovers on my B8 S4 for about a month with about a 1inch drop. I scrape a ton on corners though, I think it is the front lip.

Man I miss the power from my s4. Can't wait till apr releases the e85 tune.

I scrape mainly on the plastic flaps in front of the front tires. It's always the opposite side from the turn. Left turn and right flapper scrape.

Also doesn't help I have a fully loaded car.

more in depth:

comfortable as hell. going over bumps literally feels like its on "air" ( cause it is ). just dont be plowing through potholes thinking ur invincible cause ur wheels may not be able to handle it!
little to no body roll whatsoever when driving aggresively. can easily take corners or weave in and out without moving around in cabin. no noise at all when going through bumps.
to to mention no moar fckn scraping. air up, air down. best ride quality in a car i have ever been in ( besides my uncles LS 460 )

Snapped a couple of photos last weekend after the spring install, so here is the current OEM+ setup. It's not BK-low, but it's better than before!

On the 5's the rear wheel well is a hair lower than the front when the car is level. So that's prob why it looks off to you.

So posting here was more of a "this is what a lowly A5 with OE springs and 19x9 S5 wheels looks like" for people wanting to know, and maybe even (spoiler alert) give constructive criticism if they feel so inclined.

I am truly heartbroken that it doesn't work for someone else though. #sadface

I think its the fact that even with a drop its still almost oem height. I cant really see much of a difference from stock and that for some reason. But maybe its just the angle? Either way i hope u go a bit lower when the time comes. Mucho potential with ur car. But of course as long as im happy, thats all that matters!!!

I might space out the wheels a little more to give the impression of filling out the wheel well a little more. Did you measure the actual drop amount? Also with such a minor drop do you notice any difference in ride/handling?

Once things settled, it was right around an inch front and rear. The higher fender arch in the front gives the impression that it sits higher, but it's not really the case in terms of an overall drop. I'll measure from the wheel/hub center to the edge of the fender tonight for you.

I've noticed the expected stiffer ride quality, with bumps resonating a bit more than before. While more extreme on ramps seem to be easier on turn-in, that could just be a placebo effect combined with my desire to feel a difference. It does feel a bit more rigid when thrown around though.

With the drop, you'll definitely want some spacers to move the wheels out... at least, most peoples' taste seems to dictate that change.

Just fitted Bilstein B16 Ridecontrol's.

Not sure how much dropped by. 25mm I'd guess. Only done tonight. Might tweak?

Running 20's with 20mm H&R spacers all round.
