My Contis were pretty shot so the difference is night and day!! Cornering, Off the line pull and stopping distance, these tires do it all really good!! Now the question, do I pull them off during winter and get a set for winter???

Ya I hear ya! I have a set of 20in vorsteiner vff103s for summer, so I keep my OEM 19s wrapped Michelin Alpin PA4 for winter, and those are equally as good in snow as you think these Michelins are in the summer. Extremely good grip, like you wouldn't even know you're on snow/slush. Although still allows you to get sideways when you want/need for added fun (that, plus our Quattro just makes it real easy to bring back!)

I just got some Vorsteiner VFF-104 (20x10) put on with some kw v1 coilovers. (Thanks MOPS for the great deal on the wheels) The wheels with this drop looks amazing! I had them powdercoated satin black and the calipers painted red. I was trying to decide between many wheels and the VFF-104 wasn't even one of them. This deal came up from MOPS and I had to jump on them and couldn't be happier. It totally transformed the way my car looks. The wheels are wrapped in 285/30 Michelin as3+

Nice set up....what size bolt are you using with the 3mm spacers? I am looking at some H&R’s but worried it’s too much of a hassle for just 3 mm?

You won’t need new bolts with 3mm

Just make sure you get 5.5-6 rotations

Finally put on my satin black powdered Vossen CV3s. Although I favor my VossenxWork VWS-3s (who wouldn't?), i'm gonna ride these for awhile. Both sets of wheels are 20x10.5 et30. The CV3s have Vredestein Ultra Sessanta tires 285/30. I'm excited to try these tires as i heard they are rated excellent in cornering, road noise and overall performance. the tread pattern looks massively aggressive.

Probably a dumb question but on HRE's site, the price they show for each series "x,xxx each" is that EACH as in per wheel or per set?

Gotcha. I did the same on mine regarding the trims. They'll not look small in black at all. Larger if anything, as the tire/wheel contrast is not hard like silver/black tire. With ceramic, you're good. But I still prefer satin black. Wheel and car body contrast nicely. Here is my old A5 with satin black and glossy silver...

No worries! The offset would be ET25. Here is exactly that -

Hi all,

I'm currently on OEM 19" S5 Tri-Star wheels. I am looking to get the PSS10 coilover kit and get something around 25.75-26" FTG.

Ride comfort vs looks is about 60/40. I was originally looking at 265/35 on 19x9.5 ET25-30 or 295/30 19x10.5 ET28-32. I'm concerned about a 295 being too close to the struts inside though?

Recently started entertaining going to 20" but concerned with speedometer readings and what would be the staple sizing for a little wider tire than what I have now. 265 or 275/30? Would 295/25 or 305/25 be running a bit too thin?

305/25 would be within 0.5mm of 255/30 for sidewall height.
Not sure with respect to interfering with suspension components though.
