Hullo, I'm Ben and I own a 2012 Daytona Grey Audi A5 S-Line Black Edition Coupé, Manual Transmission Quattro with a 2.0T FSI engine (as per the sig)

I'm from the "sunny" south east of the UK. I've got a few mods (mostly retrofits) planned... S-Line Sport Suspension, Interior Light Pack, LED Interior Lamps, S5 Quad Exhaust + S5 Rear Valance, Removal of Centre Silencer. Eventually I also want to fit the ADS Buttons, Folding Mirrors, Advanced Key, and the rear parking camera. As far as VCDS mods go... if it's worthwhile doing, I've done it (or at least tried it!).

My very first car (94 VW Passat) crapped out on me right when I finished med school and just before I was going to start residency. My mom had a B5 A4 and I loved driving it, so I ended up getting a B8 A4. The problem was it was I had to get it in a matter of days, so i went with a premium that was on the lot. After a few months I regretted my decision and wanted an A5 with options. It just so happened that my moms B5 got flooded and she needed a new car. This was a perfect opportunity to get what I wanted and my mom said she would take the A4 as long as she could have it in less than a month, which meant I couldn't order one and wait the 6 months. I called dealers all across the country until I finally found one in California that had everything I wanted in the car. The dealer (Lasher Auto Group, very happy with them), worked everything out and I had the car shipped here to NY from Cali.

Hi, a week ago today I picked up a 2012 Audi A5 2.0T in Phantom Black. I traded in my 2011 Volvo S60 T6 for this car and to tell you the truth, there is no looking back for me. I must say, the A5 needs more power and I will let this be my segway into what I have already placed an order for.

On Order:
APR Single Exit Dual Tip Exhaust (Again, on order, but subject to debate for an AWE), will post more on this below.
APR Stage II ECU upgrade

Future Additions/Mods:
Window Tint (50% Front and 35% rear) I prefer 35% all around, but VA is dictating.
Either KW Variant 1 or H&R Coilovers
Either 19" or 20" Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires

Although I have the exhaust ordered (APR Single Exit) where I am having all of my work done, I feel like I am still impressionable on which exhaust I really want and would change the exhaust portion of my order, if convinced AWE is the right system for me. I like the sound of the AWE Single Exit Dual Tip exhaust which I have only listened to online, it appears to have more of that exotic car sound, which I "really" like. I do like that the APR system I currently have on order is subdued and does not have that raspy (I wish I were a V8) sound, but is it to subdued? Does it not project the exotic sound it may have in the clips I have listened to online? Maybe those of you that have listened to these exhaust systems in person can comment on whether or not these two particular systems basically sound the same or confirm what I have listened to online. Also, is there any performance benefit with one over the other?

I have just had my first 2 weeks with my Phantom S5 (2012 facelift) sport back (3yo daughter needs space!!!)

Not yet got any mods… 20" rims on it as well as pretty much everything I could have wanted… but have to confess to looking at the STaSIS 420BHP tuning package, need to maintain warranty though… dilemma!!!

Sus mods: not suitable to the country lanes I live in, and the ride is sure but supple as it is

Exhaust: the note is perfect, quiet when cruising on the m'way but flick into S-mode and it gets beautifully rorty, so that has saved £££'s!!!

External: like the look being a bit understated, maybe some tweaks in the future…!

Lights: have put PIAA 4300k 35=70W in the fog's, but looking for best 35 to 50W xenon upgrade to help with night-vis… any suggestions???

looking to get some 20" rims on Friday my options are XIX X23 and Vossen VVS 082 they both looks almost the same.

I want to change my exhaust to some chrome tips
i want to get a chip or do something to get more HP
would like to upgrade my grill
and so on and so on.

I would really like to find someone in Houston to show me what stuff looks like and help me out with getting some mods done. if you not in Houston and want to take the time to go through this with me it will be a good help also.
