I just picked up a ’13 Glacier White S5 this past Saturday, after a bit more than a month of wait.

Hey there, just picked up an '08 S5 yesterday. I'm going to admit that I have not done alot of research on these cars prior other than I've admired what the brand has done recently and liked the car alot. I've got alot of homework to do, but I am familiar with the search function.

I came from an 07 335i heavily modded. As you can tell from my screen name I do lean a little to rice but nothing too outlandish. However, I have previously owned mostly japanese brands and have done alot of mods both performance and cosmetic. Anyway while I loved the bimmer, it was time to let her go.

So my new girl is phantom black on tuscan brown. It is an AT but that fits my needs more as it is my dd and I do a fair amount of driving.

I had a hard time deciding between this car and a 11 335 coupe mt with only 3600 miles for not much price difference. In the end, I wanted something more refined. I am 44 y/o after all.

So my plan is to stay mostly stock for now (as I laugh to myself), maybe some cosmetics. I'm going to tint for sure soon. I think she needs a slight drop. She handles very loosely compared to my 3, so some suspension upgrades maybe...MAYBE.

So looking forward to learning about my car and becoming involved in the community. I'll post some pics once I get a chance to take some decent ones.

Welcome RS5 le, to post pics you must host them (upload them) on an external server like photobucket, then copy the image URL and use the insert image button to paste the image. When I write it out sound like a lot, but its pretty easy once you post a few pics.

My name is Andrew and I'm located in Charlotte, NC. I've just stepped out of the casual and envious viewing category and one of participation... At least with respect to the B8 A5 line. I meant to post earlier, but only had marginal images of the new machine.
I had just picked up my RS4 when I saw the new S5 back in 2006 and knew then and there if they did an RS version I would be ordering one. It's now a done deal and I'm a happy boy!

Here are some shots of the RS5 along side the RS4. Maybe they'll procreate!

The RS4 will eventually be heading down to Tampa to my brother. Keeping it in the family! My 1999 A4 30v is sitting outside currently. Getting ready for a four post service lift, but funds are needed in other areas of the house unfortunately. The A4 sits on H&R coil overs, Sportec 18s, with an Oettinger chin splitter, S4 skirts, rear valence and a PES G2 supercharger. I'm the original owner have a bunch of $$ into her and still love the car. Can't see parting with it.
