Hey everyone! I'm brand new to Audi cars and just picked up a new 2013 S5 6MT, Prestige Package, Carbon Inlays and 19" peelers. Already did my first mods of 20% tints all around and hardwired my V1. Loving the car so far and I'm coming from a 2010 Nissan 370Z. Looking forward to more mods and having some real fun with this car

Hi guys, here's my b8 s5. So far I did OEM titanium wheels, plastidip grille and rear valence and vinyl wrap window trim. Still need to do a drop and spacers and she will be perfect for me!

Also, welcome to you mti. Black out pieces looks great on Ibis. Spacers and a drop and she will be perfect. Maybe consider the black fog trims as well. The oem part is not too much money. Love those windows abover your garage. We have a robot with an Ibis car on the forum from your area, mxrz.

Thanks for the comments, wanted to do the fog trim as well but I ran out of plastidip I will probably do it later. For 440$ a wheel at the dealer it was not too bad for OEM quality.

But damn all those 2013 look awesome!

Lol, nice. I happen to be the Sharepoint guru for Lowe's Real Estate, Engineering and Construction dept only. I do not work in it daily but have built many sites/forms etc and do revisions/maintenance weekly.

Small world! I work for a local consultancy as their chief architect doing architecture, develpoment and such for various SharePoint implementations for firms. My first trip in the new '13 S5 was down to DC to do a talk on some SharePoint dev. The day I picked it up no less! What a drive that was!

Hello All - Completely new to Audi, but I have the bug big time. I have a 2013 A5 and did some mods, but I guess I'm too early an adopter...Long story, but I have the APR K04 installed, but the ECU is not yet compatible with the 2013 2.0T, so it's not up to speed (no pun intended). Anyway, I've been lurking the threads for a couple weeks now and there are some really beautiful cars out there. Hope you enjoy mine. At some point, I'll be installing spacers, upgrading the brakes, and convert to dual exit exhaust. I LOVE the OEM wheels (only 18's), but I think I may pick up a summer set of wheels/tires (19s or 20s???) and use the OEMs for winter.

I got the standard A5 instead of the S5 to save some money and I didn't want all the 'sport' options. But now that I have the bug, I'm spending $$$'s on perf upgrades, I should have just gotten the S5. I don't regret it though. Just an amazing and fun car to drive. Both you guys have amazing looking cars. The build threads are awesome. I'll think of how I can do that. I didn't take too many photos. I'll see if I can get some more shots.

Know anyone at APR? I'm absolutely desperate for them to finalize the ECU stuff for the 2013's. Hoping I don't have to wait too long...

I'm super excited about buying my first Audi...and jumping right into the RS5 is going to be even more awesome.. Problem is I can't decide on the color (driving me a little nuts).. and wanted some advice..

I've narrowed down my options to: (all accented with Titanium Package)

Sepang Blue, Panther Crystal, Daytona Grey.

Daytona- Personally, I think the perfect color would be daytona with a little more "blue" pop in the paint, I love the black window treatment offsets and the wheels against the grey. However, I think
the Daytona is just a little too plain even though I love the offset.

Panther Black- everyone on this site seems to be complaining about having a black car, just due to maintenance etc.. but it seems like the panther is just a crazy cool color.. The only issue I see is the
window and other black offsets..Worried about too much black.. Don't seem really stand out.

Sepang- this seems to be everyone's favorite- I do like the way it brings everything together but I wish it had a little more gray in it.. Keep coming back towards the panther.. If I had to rank it would be:

1. Panther
2. Sepang (Close)
3. Daytona
4. Red

Thoughts? Thanks again.. I also assume their are no custom color options available for RS5..

Has anyone had any wiggle room on this? I'm thinking $80,000 is more acceptable all in but not sure if there is ANY room for movement..

Prism Silver has some gold flake in it. I personally don't like it, but to each his own.

Audi is only building 1500 RS5s for the US, so there won't be any wiggle room. Just find a dealer with a good reputation around you and give them your business.

Not a lot of wiggle room that I know of. My dealer knocked off $1,000 for "owner loyalty" as I bought my A5 from him. Other than that, it was pretty much sticker. I guess the good news is that I'm hearing some guys paid up to $5-7K *over* sticker in some cases. No way I was going to do that.

For the exact reason you pointed out, I thought it might be "too black". I agonized over it for several days, before finally calling my dealer back and changing the order to Daytona. I've subsequently seen many pictures of either Phantom/Panther with the Titanium package and it actually think it does look pretty good. However, I'm sticking with my choice...probably too late to change now anyway. I briefly flirted with the idea of Misano Red, because all the early promo pictures were red, but in the end, that seemed too over-the-top.

Color is such a personal thing. Go with what *you* like vs. what others think you should do! My $0.02
