Hey guys, doing an oil pressure gauge install for a friend. He got the Podi steering column pod, which I love in my B7 (I have the dual stepper pod) the B8 version only fits 1 slim gauge however and for those that are familiar, a standard 52mm Prosport Gauge sticks about halfway out. He says it wont bother him but I have yet to see a different pod that would accommodate such a gauge. So if you are running them please post up some pics of your column pods. Tried searching but there is very limited info on the topic. To tap the gauge I plan on using 42DD kit # 42-022 same as in my B7 and tap it at the pressure switch location on the filter housing. Also will do my best to make a decent write up for those interested. All help is greatly appreciated so I can make this a nice clean install. He is not looking to switch gauges but if it comes to it we can talk that over.
