Hissing/Static sound coming from driver side air vent

Third week with my 2009 2.0 TT quattro and am in love with it. I've noticed what sounds to be air or radio static coming from my driver side air vent when the engine is on. Neither the air or the radio is on when this happens and it is a constant faint noise EXCEPT when I press the break peddle down the noise stops when I lift my foot it starts again. Any thoughts? I'm hoping its nothing serious the car is still under warranty and has had all of it's scheduled maintenance performed.

Never heard of such a problem. Next time you're at the dealer have them take a look unless it gets worse.
