    I think wagons will gain some traction after the compact SUV craze. The Hatchback craze has yet to play out. Not sure if 318i and Audi A3 will ever gain any traction.

    Not really feeling the R8 wheels or even some of the other designs of the B8 series.

    Saw a Q7 with the RS4 style split spoke, and I think they are a bit timeless.

    Waiting to see if another brand might pique my interest.

    Updates for this month:

    Eurocode High Flow Cat! Certainly makes a HUGE difference. Fuel economy has gone up a few points as well. Great mod and thanks to Eurocode!

    Actually it was! Very easy install. Paid a guy 160 bucks to do it.

    Bolted right up. No issues. When I left work, she was ready for spooling!

    Let me say this: The best mod after those coilovers and APR chip. The car feels so much smoother. A bit of lag depending on the gear/ throttle position. The car just "breathes" better now. Can't wait to do the APR stage II mod.

    Had the APR Stage 2 Flash done today by Concours here in CoS.

    They did a great job on installing my H&R Swaybar as well. Great company! Great Service!

    Now onto the results:

    Update for the end of June 2012:

    Installed a K&N Flat Panel Air Filter

    So, I have ran K&N products on most motorcycles and some of my cars over the last 20 years. Some would complain the technology is antiquated and oiled filters aren't that good. However, I had had good results across the board. So results from today seem to indicate the same I have experienced in the past.

    Great spooling sounds, Great spinning or a smoother throttle feeling, little more intake sound which is nice, and overall seems to be a great mod.

    The OEM filter is pretty interesting looking compared to the K&N. Less than 10k on the odometer so far, and I was able to knock a ton of dirt and residue off the OEM filter before throwing it in the bin.

    Hey, posted the gap from last spring on the first page of the thread. I will re-measure this week and post up 12 month Sag Numbers. I am sure she has settled a few mm over the past year.

    No way. I teamed up with a great and former B5 S4 Audi owner. Went to the AFA garage and got is done including 2 adjustments in 4 hours. Teamwork!

    Ok, so measured the stance today. Came up with the following measurements from the ground to lowest edge of fenderwell (as measured before). looks like I will be bringing the front down a bit in the next few months.

    Rear: 25 1/2 inches

    Front: 25 3/4 inches

    Oh, also ran on an A7 3.0T this morning. My Stage II APR wouldn't let him go! This car can friggen scoot! You should have seen this guy! I have got to get either the K04 or a GTX kit for this thing. With a tick over 10k on the odometer the TFSI engine really pulls. This was the first time I ever really ever pushed the car. I am seriously impressed and the A7 guy was as well.

    Thanks much! Hoping to have a BB kit sorted and on by this summer. Thinking of doing yellow calipers this time. Can't decide on the brand, but leaning to Stoptech again. Great product and easy to change pads out.

    Latest update to the Avant. Thanks to the folks at: Excelerate.com for the Big Brake Kit. Can't thank them enough for a great price and great service!









    The kit is a 380mm S4 kit. I have done 355mm before with 18" rims. Running 19" rims I felt the 380mm looked better. Also, the S4 peelers are on loan. I don't like how heavy they are and they need to be a Titanium finish as well. Will have my VMR's back on shortly. and a proper photo shoot as soon as I get my new camera.

    The pedal feel is like my Brembo's on the Ducati. Very smooth and linear feeling. I love Stoptech brakes. They have done a great job engineering this kit. It takes a while to bed the rotors in. Lot's of threshhold braking to bed them in properly.
