Hey everyone. My name is Bill and I recently picked up my 2012 Monsoon Gray, Prestige, Titanium Package S4. It has the manual transmission.

It also has the Silk Nappa Leather - Black/Spectral Silver Interior, Adaptive Cruise Control w/braking guard and Sports Differential.

The purchase story is interesting...The dealership called both my brother and I on Wednesday (Feb. 29) and stated they had to move four vehicles by midnight to make their quota. I ended up purchasing the above and my brother purchased a 2012 Black S5 (auto), which he picked up his car on Saturday.

February was an interesting month for my household. On February 18, I had purchased a 2012 A7, Prestige for my fiancee'.

BUTTT...before the pictures begin..hold off on your Tint the Window comments, it was part of the purchase package, but I wanted the car before my vacation began (1st week of March), so I took it before they tinted my windows. I am scheduled later today to get my windows tinted.

I would like to introduce to you, MonSoonHell....and our A7 ((haven't yet named the A7)..

Here is wifey's Audi A7, Prestige Edition, Dakota Gray with Black Interior.

We walked in the dealership and purchased her right off the show room floor. Practically one look from my fiancee' and she was in love.

Great cars! and that A7 is beautiful.

I also just picked up a monsoon S4, loving the black grill and window outlines. Is that part of the titanium package or did you use plastidip?

I'm sure there are others out there, but that S4 color combo and titanium package would seem to make it rare. Hope they gave you a bulk discount!

Love the color (same and also interior), nice choice of options.

The A7 in person is even more stunning, i kept slobering over one parked in front
of a Panera and paid little attention to some elderly guy with a cane staring from the
sidewalk until 5 minutes later he came over and opened the car to let me have a look.

After putting 1000 miles on my S4, I need to ask the following:

Are you S4 owners having trouble getting in and out of your vehicles?
I am not that tall and have to put the steering wheel in the highest position to include pushing it towards the dash and THEN set the chair back almost to where the left bolster clears the door?

Another question would be are you comfortable in the seat?
I have yet to find a comfortable position. I have the memory 1 button set, then I play with the chair before driving off.

I love everything else this car offer, but damn. Just curious about other owners. Keep in mind I have a manual...and do those with the automatics have this problem?

    Thanks

Also, what I am finding out after comparing my brother's S5 to the S4, is that we do not have the option of the Headlight Washer Spray.

I laughed when my brother showed me the feature, cause it sprayed more than just the headlight. I actually had to dodge out of the way, as I was standing near the driver's side front tire. My brother did not know he had it, until he was driving at night and hit the button to clean the windshield and noticed that fluid was coming up from the front of his bumper.

Gimmicky...perhaps! Curious what your thoughts are on this?

Alright...I felt like keeping this thread alive. I received my tax money and am looking to upgrade. I just flipped 1900 miles. I visited an Audi Dealer that installs STaSIS, APR and AWE products on Long Island. I am conversing with the Manager of the Service Department and he is really cool. I am torn between the warranty issue with STaSIS and APR. I want the best bang for the buck. I like the STaSIS Touring Package...and was going to upgrade my brakes with Adam Rotors (slots w/ceramic pads). However, the Manager is stating nothing but good things about the APR Pulley Upgrade with Tune.

I also want wider rims to give the same stance as the STaSIS 20x9 rims gives in this video on YouTube...scroll forward to 2:05:

Would like to hear from members that have the APR mods/tune and also those with STaSIS...

Well, I worked it out with STaSIS and Anchor Audi for the modding to begin. After talking with Anchor Audi regarding the TD1 and warranty issue, I am getting the STaSIS Challenge Exhaust kit and the Suspension components from the Touring Package installed this week. I am not rushing into any headaches with tuning the ECU and running into warranty issues. I am surrendering MonsoonHell this Thursday and will hopefully get her back by Friday. Will definitely take pictures and make videos.

Alright...just got back from the dealer with the STaSIS Challenge Package Exhaust and Touring Package Suspension (springs and larger rear sway bar). Definitely lower than I had thought, but I like it. Not sure about the handling as of yet, but the exhaust is definitely deeper and louder (not obnoxious). Here are the pictures. Will video the exhaust soon.

Saving the best view for last...

And yes, I know...I know... I plan on getting spacers. Too far in for my taste. Plus, I plan on using the current rims for my winter setup. I am still open to which rims I want...but they have to be 20x9s all around.

I thought so too, but I believe they are suppose to stick out like that. If they were in further you wouldn't be able to read "STaSIS" on top of them. I will take pictures of that too when I do the video. Only wish I could use Adaptive Cruise in NY...LOL!

I found pictures of the actual STaSIS vehicle and their exhaust is installed in the same manner. Apparently STaSIS wanted to provide a large stainless tip as opposed to the little ones that Audi's come with. Personally, I find the stock exhaust tips are too small for the car.

Just to keep my thread alive. I have a slight dilemma. I purchased the INJEN intake, as I couldn't wait any longer for RocEuro to come back with their Group Buy and Red Filter. And just as I purchased the INJEN, wouldn't you know it, RocEuro did exactly what i had wished for. So now I have both in my garage.

Hmmm...do I go with the polished pipe of the INJEN intake to bring some necessary bling under the hood, or go with the RocEuro?

The shop I go to with the AWD dyno got 5 feet of water from Hurricane Sandy, as I wanted to see the differences between the two. So the dyno'ing will have to wait until they get back on their feet. Until that time, just curious which one would you install?

By the way, which ever one I do not go with, will be for sale....

    Thanks,
    BMN
