Well, my RHO Plate got damaged and I had to remove it. I ordered a new one and am awaiting for its arrival. In the meantime, I thought I would take a couple of pictures of what MonSoonHell looks like without the front plate. So for those that hate front plates...as much as I agree, this is a temporary look..

Oh yeah...I removed my winter rim setup and installed my summer setup. It rained the day before, so both car and rims are pretty dirty.

Thought I would provide an update. My boat is fully operational now, as Marine Max has completed all the work they have promised. I just put my boat in the slip at the yacht club I am in. She is so responsive at low speeds with no rudder control...just engines alone.

My damn job is killing my boating season so far...no time to enjoy her yet. But, I have the first two weeks in July off, plus an additional 10 months of leave on the books to burn through, before retirement...so definitely will be taking advantage of that.

Well, the mods still keep coming for MonSoonHell... Waterfest is around the corner and we are coming to NJ like a monsoon. So what is in the works, you ask? Earlier, I purchased the AMS Alpha Intercooler during the group buy. I also purchased the new 034 suspension mods, new fog lights, new coils & NGK spark plugs. There is another major mod that I purchased, but that will be posted after the install.

MonSoonHell went to Real Auto Dynamics today for the beginning of the install of the above..sorry for the cell phone pics.

Thanks for the props. I purchased both the RS4 grill and Audi Rings on Ebay. Ebay will not let me go back to 2012 to see who I purchased the grill from, however, I purchased the Audi Rings from user, " smart-motoring ".

This is the biggest and latest mod for MonSoonHell. I wanted to make a statement for Waterfest. MonSoonHell has been in the Real Auto Dynamics shop for the past three weeks for the installation of all the mods on this page, to include:

A different view of MonSoonHell at Waterfest 21 and yes, I am still rolling with 19x10s with 275s:

MonSoonHell was in the Niche Rotiform Wheels Booth at Tuner Evolution in PA.

After that show, I was contacted by Niche Wheels, specifically thru MHT. They were talking to AccuAir, who wanted a photoshoot of MonSoonHell for their 2016 catalogs and websites.

Last Thursday the photoshoot took place. Here are a couple.

It is amazing what a professional photographer can do with a camera..

Sorry for the late response. If you look thru this thread, it will answer everything you want to know about MonSoonHell. From what she looked like stock to her current look. The answer to your question is 357 whp and 369 wtq. STaSIS V2 tune.

I am not a fan of the slammed look either. However, to receive high scores from judges in car shows and as a booth car (Real Auto Dynamics, Niche and hopefully soon for AccuAir), it is unfortunately or fortunately needed, in our cases an unfortunate issue.

I have been looking at various Youtube videos of 2016 car reviews. Normally, I get into a different vehicle every 3-4 years. And 4 years is quickly coming up. Consider this post a feeler. If anyone is looking for a damn near completely modded S4, with lots of the stock pieces and even additional mods never installed, never tracked or gone down the quarter mile track, driven by a 40 something year old...save your money for after winter.

I told myself after Waterfest, I was done modded MonSoonHell, well wouldn't you know it, I purchased another mod the week after Waterfest and I just purchased another mod earlier this week. I have the one mod at Real Auto Dynamics ready for installing and the other mod arrives later today (Thursday). Yes, pictures will definitely be posted. So Friday and Saturday may be surgery time for MonSoonHell.

Modding MonSoonHell has begun to pay off. I am pretty honored to be the face of Niche Road Wheels on their Facebook page (well for a week at least). I hope my photoshoot pictures makes it to AccuAir next. Only 1/3 of the photos have been finalized. So definitely expect more pic whoring.

If you click on the link and scroll through their Cover Photos, she will be there...LOL!

Ok...the additional mods mentioned above have been installed. The mods were originally, SPC Performance Adjustable Front Control Arms (currently up for sale - see above post) with 034Motorsports Speed Density Engine Mounts. Since the SPC arms were not going to work with the AccuAir system, I contacted 034Motorsports (Chris), found out their Density Line Adjustable Upper Control Arm, Camber Correcting kit, would work with AccuAir sensors, so I immediately ordered the kit. Also, when inspecting the lower control arms of MonSoonHell, I decided to replace those as well.

I unfortunately, was not at the shop when the upper (034Motorsports) and lower control arms arrived for the install. I did take photos after the install.

    Lower Control Arms:

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of the 034Motorsports engine mounts installed. However, I will be posting my stock motor mounts in the classified section (not sure what they are worth, but due to the condition, I would like to help someone else out, if they want a set of OEM motor mounts.

I was too upset to post anything about what happened to MonSoonHell last Friday around 0900 hours. I was traveling back to Real Auto Dynamics (RAD), as the passenger front AccuAir sensor was acting up. I had to manually pump air in that corner while driving as it would leak air, 1 PSI every 10 - 12 seconds. So my drive there was taken slowly. On the road where RAD is located it is 40 mph. I was definitely going slower than that in the right lane. Lawson Blvd is a 4 lane road, having enough room to park vehicles on either side of the road. Approximately, 500 yards from RAD, there was a vehicle making a left turn and two cars were behind it. The second vehicle was a Hyundai Santa Fe. Out of nowhere, the lady driving the Hyundai, guns it to the right (my lane) to drive around the vehicle making the left. She does this as I was passing her. I had an SUV (seen in picture) parked to my right, so nowhere to go. All I had time to do was slam on my brakes, lay into the horn, and try to fit in between the Hyundai and parked SUV. All I saw was her front fender coming towards my window and heard the noise of collision.

Received the police report Wednesday, spoke to her insurance company Thursday and they assumed 100% liability. MonSoonHell has been at the body shop since last Saturday..sitting. Damage sustained is practically the whole driver's side of MonSoonHell, plus the left front Niche Rim. Will be inspecting the rear rim for damage, when I get to the body shop later today.

After I visit the body shop tomorrow, I will have better pictures of the actual damage. BUT there is more to the story.

As I didn't have a vehicle to drive, I was hanging out at RAD until they closed, as the owner was taking me home. We left RAD around 630pm. For those that live on Long Island you will know this location. We are in the right lane on the Southern State (westbound) and are in the merging lane of the Cross Island Parkway. Halfway on that merge portion, we are rear ended. It was bumper to bumper traffic, it is about 7pm now. A guy in a black Maxima, either was driving with two feet (one on brake and one on gas) or his foot slipped off the brake and floored the gas, because the hit was substantial.

Here I am, simply wanting to get home, and now I am involved in another vehicle accident. Luckily, we did not take his 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo. We were in his 2015 Audi Allroad.

Definitely, not my day last Friday. But in both accidents, it was not the Audis at fault. What really sucked was that it took NYPD an hour and a half to respond.

^^^^^ oh man, totally sucks.... good to hear the lady's insurance is paying up though!

Does that include your wheels? What about diminished value to MonSoonHell? I'm guessing it'll show up on a CarFax now. WTF is going on with drivers in NY?!

I included pictures of Waterfest (July) and the photoshoot with Niche Wheels and AccuAir in August for before pictures. I have my receipts ready for all of the mods installed (just in case). I advised the claims specialist of my rims. I am quite sure the Auto Damage Adjuster (insurance company title), he will be able to see everything is going to be high end with this accident.

I appreciate it. At least this is one of the biggest auto body shops on Long Island. For now, I get to drive wifey's A7....Ha!

MonSoonHell was repaired and is better than ever. All of her imperfections were repaired, meaning all rock chips in both the hood and bumpers are now gone. The paint and blending is so perfect, it is as if nothing ever happened. No structural damage occurred, just body panels.

On another note, I was having issues and unfortunately still having issues with my AccuAir system. I was told that if the electric current isn't constant to the AccuAir brain, it may not function properly. My system has functioned improperly since the installation. The issue is that once the system is calibrated and you park you can lower the car (park mode). So 1) you lower the car in the park mode or 2) you don't lower it in park mode. You start the car, which should bring you to the preset number 2 (driving mode). When starting MonSoonHell (after calibrated) the fronts will actually swap air pressure. In other words, if I program the passenger front to 94 and the driver's side to 98, they will swap the next time I start the car. Very annoying. I am glad I optioned for the Premier system, having the actual PSI gauge to look at, to capture what I am referring too.

I was hoping that replacing the battery, which was done this past Saturday, would cure the issue. Will be reaching out to AccuAir to see if there is a fix. Anyone else have AccuAir and is going thru this same issue?

And yes, the battery is expensive. Yes the battery is huge. It is about the same size as one of my boat batteries. Thank goodness only one battery goes in MonSoonhell. I have 5 batteries in FedUP.

I'm glad you fixed your car up man, it was sad to hear about the accident. Could you please either post here or even better PM me the info about that body shop on LI that did the work on your car. I'm considering painting my car and would like a good shop to do the work the right way. Could you PM me how much they charged you also? Thanks.

Not that MonSoonHell needed it, but I upgraded/replaced the four corners with Airlift's Performance Series for the B8, which is the following kit:

I was not at Real Auto Dynamics when they installed it, but took pictures afterwards:

Sorry she is dirty underneath, but it was raining when I pulled her into the shop. The ride is slightly firmer than the ACCUAir system, and I am in the middle setting all around. I have other modifications coming up. Just waiting for them to be delivered.

Thought I would give MonSoonHell an early Christmas present this year. So besides the above, I purchased (already installed) the CR-15 bar, EuropaParts Oil Dipstick (is it true it adds 3.0 pounds of torque?) and her big gift of color correction detailing and Opti-Coating her. Once the weather improves (fingers crossed), I will take pictures. She literally looks brand new.

There was some Opti-Coat left over, so after the switch to my winter wheels, my Niche wheels will be Opti-Coated too.

    Anyone else Opti-Coat their Audi?
