Another mod installed... Pretty incredible story how I came about this mod. I was at Waterfest 19 in the car show portion. My car was judged. Shortly afterwards a guy and I will assume it was his son approached MonSoonHell and asked if it was mine. After introducing himself (Tim), he asked if I ever heard of P3Cars. I answered negative and he provided flyers of their products. I immediately recognized the vent gauge as they are advertised on Ebay.

Tim was actually one of the founders of P3Cars and said that his company was judging vehicles independently from Waterfest. Tim goes on to say that I won " Best of Show" in the B8 S4 category and instead of a trophy he proceeds to give me a white box which contains what you see in the pics...

The install was a breeze. Took less than 20 minutes.

    Boost/Vaccuum gauge:

    Temp gauge:

With a push of a button, there are additional options such as Intake Air Temp, Exhaust Gas Temp, Throttle Plate, Speed, RPM with Shift-light, Battery voltage, 0-60 times. You can recall the peak value from any mode, or record and playback 15 seconds of data from the current mode. Temperature peaks recorded in the background.

Hmmmm....never thought CCW Rims could be cop wheels... but then again I am a Supervisory Federal Agent...go figure! Besides, I am using an Android phone as the camera, the white is actually a polished lip. And welcome to the world of New York regarding the front plate.

    Yet more additions to MonSoonHell...

I was using my stock rims for my winter setup, however, after flaring out the fenders to fit my new rims (19x10s), the stockers weren't going to work. SOOOOOO....I got an awesome deal on rims from my shop (Real Auto Dynamics) and well, the rest is history... The details... Privat AKZENTs 19x9.5 with a 38 offset have my Blizzaks on them. I am not a fan of the stretch look, but these are only on for a short period (I hope...LOL).

Here is a shot of the stretch, plus MonSoonHell in the background:

    Installed:

And prior to the winter rims/tires being installed. I finally got MonSoonHell dyno'ed. Four Pulls on a Mustang Dyno. I have the STaSIS/Revo (v.2) tune. See signature for other mods. Temperature was 58* in the shop. Every pull gave a higher number...imagine if I did 10 pulls...LOL!

I would get a chuckle when seeing people on the side of the road either putting their spare tire on or waiting for AAA or the like, after hitting a pothole. Well, now I can join the ranks... After enjoying my new winter setup rims for a couple of months...this is what the passenger front rim looks like after hitting a pothole at 60 mph while going around a sharp exit from one parkway to another on Long Island. Specifically, the merge from the Wantagh Parkway to the Northern State Parkway.

    From this....

    this...

    back to this...

They are actually cast...and yes I am extremely lucky in how it turned out. I am going to play lotto if they can be repaired. I should hear something tomorrow about the repair.

One of the most beautiful S4 i have ever seen!!

I know some people don't like the liscence plate placement, but i think it makes the car look more aggressive!

Thanks for the props. Definitely a money pit...LOL! I love the European plate, just wish I did not have to have the front NY Plate. It does look cleaner without the plate.

Just a follow up on the repair of the rim...

It is a no go on repairs. The rim is bent from the hub to the damage on the lip, making the repair more than the price of the rim. Another rim has been ordered..so stay tuned...

Pot holes are really bad this year! More like empty kiddie pools in the middle of the roads. Absolutely horrible this year in the NE.

They are genuine Audi aluminum pedals. There was a group buy. Do a search and ask the OP if he will have another one. If you cannot find the thread, let me know and I will search for it.

Currently, we are waiting for HRE spacers (25mm spacers for the rear and 20mm spacers for the front) to install my stock rims on my brother's 2013 S5, making the rims pretty much even with the fenders. If he doesn't like the look after the install, my stock rims MAY be up for sale. However, I have no problems with them sitting in the loft in my garage, along with my winter rims.

Interesting information gathered last week on my winter rims. Originally, the repair shop looked at it and stated the repairs would be more than the price of a new rim. However, after further investigation into the rim, they were able to repair it for less than originally estimated. BUT.....when that rim was repaired and returned to the shop, the four rims were placed side by side and one of the shop guys noticed that I also damaged the passenger rear rim as well. The rear rim was damaged only on the lip..about 6 inches of slightly being bent. It still held air. So that rim was repaired. Both rims repaired cost me $300.

MonSoonHell is now wearing my winter setup again... and I have different plans for my summer and winter setup for 2014. Stay tuned.

I am getting that alot from my family and friends. Just goes to show that an expensive set of rims doesn't always look better than a non-expensive set of rims.

I needed new rotors as they were glazed over, so I ordered rotors from AdamsRotors.com.

I ordered a set of their RACE pattern with a black hub. I also ordered a set of USP Stainless Steel brake lines in Red.

EDIT: Should have mentioned that I used Hawk's Ceramic pads. And there is a difference in pedal feel now. Not that I had a spongy pedal, but it is definitely more solid than the stock rotors w/Hawks HPS-High Performance Street disc brake pads.

Sorry about the pot hole, that sucks! Car looks amazing, us 12's got to stick together

If you don't mind me asking, did you get the stasis tune because of the warranty? Ever think about switching to APR or GIAC for stage 2?

Actually, the warranty from STaSIS was the only reason I chose them, but I will say that I am pleased with my choice. It may not be the best in HP/TQ increase, but it is a decent package IMO. If APR can come out with their supercharger upgrade, I may just move closer into the darkside...

And as far as sticking together..that shouldn't be a problem...not a fan of the facelift.

    Recently Picked up a 2012 S4 and A7

I dont have the patience to wait for stage 3. I'll most likely have a newer/faster car by the time its actually released. I wish stasis offered a stage 2.

I wish STaSIS would come up with more upgrades too. I think MonSoonHell may have till the end of 2014 in my household. I always wanted the R8.
