Your Exhaust Tips. . . . . I have the Stasis Full DSG Exhaust on mine and had the tech tuck em in! Not sure exactly what he did but made it work. You can barely read "STASIS" on mine. Those are too far out for my taste. I would have those tucked in.

Ok...just got back from my house that flooded during Hurricane Sandy. I installed the RocEuro intake. Took all of 20 minutes. Sounds awesome. I may attempt to do a comparo video since I have both intakes. Will take photos tomorrow. Hate the fact it gets dark early now.

I would agree, I have seen others with this exhaust and they are much more tucked (including the stasis photo you linked)

Well, I installed my RS4 grill. After looking at it, I think I am going to install a tow hook license plate holder and install my euro plate I had made. It looks a little busy in the middle. AND, sorry for the crappy pictures. Will take better ones after the holidays.

I joke with people, saying it is a prototype where the car drives itself...LOL.

I mean in reality, it does with braking and accelerating and is hard to get used too. I have only used it three times. What is really nerve racking is that you shift the car normally while in cruise control. Just no stepping on the gas..

I know there is a group buy on the Alu Kruez, however, after looking at the savings on the actual product and paying $30 dollars for shipping, the savings for the month long wait wasn't worth it, IMO. So I made the purchase and it arrived today...

    Even comes with gloves....

Will post pictures of the install.

There was a meet at 2pm at Captree with the crew from RAD. The usual car get together occurred this morning and actually was still occurring when we showed up. Wifee and I showed up late at 3pm. We only stayed for an hour. We went to our other house in Babylon Village and had dinner with my mom.

As far as the review of the Alu Kruez....

Well, as I mentioned Wifee was with me, so I couldn't drive as spirited as I wanted too. But nonetheless, we did take a couple of exits faster than normal. The difference is definitely noticeable. From stock, in Dynamic mode, the S4 rides on rails...or makes your butt believe it is on rails. When taking a corner stock, it holds however, it feels "spongee"...I mean you know the S4 is holding the line, but it is like the tires are going balls out gripping. With the Alu Kruez, it feels as if the tires are screaming, "Give me more"...the "spongee" feel is replaced with confidence. Bottomline, stock feels like the tires work hard when driving spirited....with the Alu Kruez, it feels like the car works harder...giving the tires even more capabilities for even more spirited driving.

For those that are thinking about the Alu Kruez, it is a no brainer. With this mod, the Dynamic mode should be changed with a word moving it upwards to the next alphabet, such as " Explosive ". Thanks Euro Code...great product. Worth the price advertised and a steal at a price in a Group Buy.

The Alu Kruez makes a significant difference in giving the feedback to the car. The best way to describe it is that when doing small inputs off dead center, before the feel was numb and completely void from any hydraulic feedback that you are used to sensing. NOW, it is much tighter and natural feeling. I can see how the guys at eCode say the AK makes a larger difference in B8.5's with the electronic steering module.

Congrats on the 3 cars. That dealership must love you and your family. The STaSIS pipes are supposed to stick out like that. They are rather big and look very aftermarket. Hope they don't drone. I had to return mines because with the s-tronic, they blew my ears out at highway cruising RPMs.

Hey congrats on the cars!! And another manual!

I have to say that the A7 is the ugliest Audi build since the A2 for me. I just can´t get around that rear end.

    Still a great car though.

I actually had to see the A7 in person after seeing the pictures. Prior to seeing the A7 in person, I had the same feelings as you. However, when I entered the showroom floor and saw the actual A7 that I later purchased, I was impressed. The real issue was to sell the A7 to wifee. After she test drove another A7, she was hooked.

Wifee barely drives the A7, only 7600 miles on her, since last February. And with my STaSIS and other aftermarket mods, MonSoonHell is a blast to drive. Thanks for the Congrats!

PB - I am looking at the 2013 S5. But I have on order custom 3 piece rims that have yet to come. Depending on the wow factor of their install may deter my feelings on selling her. Now that I installed the Alu Kruez, the price is higher than the $51k I had mentioned before. I say this because MonSoonHell has definitely transformed into a league higher than any standard S4. I do not know what else that can be added, besides my plan on purchasing the Porsche Cayenne BBK and the rims mentioned above.

So what is a fair selling price on such a vehicle?

MH... you know we feel your price was good before. And im sure you would agree doing some parting out would be the way to go for you...esp if trading it in to a dealer.
its a turn key car from an adult driver with tastfully done mods for sure.
Yea, i too was a bit tempted by the "Porker" too... (S5)...but didnt care for the blind spots and only 2 doors.
Back to Monsoon Hell... part out and trade it in?

edit: What wheels and offsets/tires did you go for...Since im also Monsoon...curious.

I have parted out prior vehicles before, and in doing do, you still lose out as you never recoup the price of the labor install of all the mods, nor the price of the mods itself. I received my tax returns which plays a more favorable factor in the event I do purchase the S5. If the monthly payment will be around $800 for the S5, I may be able to keep MonSoonHell until I sell her (for the right price).

My brother has put the bug in my head to purchase a R8 instead, in that with the two car payments of the S4 and S5, it could be cheaper with the R8 payment. He has a point...so my boy at the stealership, has to work his magic, like he did for the A7 and MonSoonHell.

    Decisions decisions...

But for now, I am not focusing on the selling or trading in of any vehicles. I just confirmed with my Insurance company that the check was finalized to rebuild my house which was damaged in Hurricane Sandy. Let me just say that I am very pleased in the amount I will be recieving, which will be this week. Plus, the fact that I am working 1400 - 2200 hours this week makes it hard for me to handle any personal issues, but come next week...who knows what will be decided or happen.

MH... I really didnt bother to look as it appears you are not heavily modified, just very heavily equipped mostly stock prestige car there.
So yea, makes sense to just sell as is. the mods dont make any difference on price at the dealer though.
ill ask again... What wheels did you order Monsoon Hell?

I really cannot answer that now. The company I am dealing with does not have a S4 modeling their rims.....soooo, I have the rims at cost, plus my car will be on his website and catalog (stay tuned). The owner loves my car (exterior and interior). It is a staggered set up, however, the rims are the same size all around. I can tell you that I am going with 19s.

If I were in your shoes and could afford an R8. On it in a second lol... And get a daily commuter for cheap. I hate all these decisions. I'm going crazy myself trying to figure out ways to sell all my toys and get into a Porsche GT3. It's a never ending cycle and the wife is going crazy lol.

The only freebies would be from the Audi Collection, such as an Audi S4 hat, Audi Thermos and an Audi Lighter (I actually purchased one and they gave me another one). The most important freebie to me, is the service I receive at the dealership. I hear the nightmare stories and hope that I never run into them.

I have three Audi dealerships I am friendly with. My brother and I purchased our cars at Atlantic Audi. I purchased and had installed the STaSIS mods at Anchor Audi and have been bringing both MonSoonHell and wifee's A7 to them for service. My salesman/friend left Atlantic Audi and now works for Biener Audi.

I plan on bringing the A7 to Biener Audi from now on and MonSoonHell will remain with Anchor Audi.

Yes a lot of money, but then again, a lot of car!

Ok...more updates to my family's Audi life. After 14 months of my brother owning his 2012 Audi S5...seen below:

He traded the 2012 and purchased this...

Thanks Coderadpl for the pics. As big as that show was, I didn't see another B8 S4 there.

    New Wheelz

    Ok everyone...another mod for MonSoonHell.

Without going into too many details, these are 19 x 10 rims all around. 275/35/19s Continental Extreme Contacts (DW). Color: Hyperblack (black chrome). Anyone care to guess who the manufacturer of the rims? And/or perhaps the model number? I will provide the offset number and answers to the questions shortly.

When I ordered the rims, the company installed a different model rim, same size, on a 2011 S4. They fit fine, however, they used 255s on those rims. My shop and the manufacturer of the rims discussed tire sizes and 275s were chosen.

The installation is not complete. Two issues remain. 1) the fenders are getting rolled and possibly flared out tomorrow morning. 2) The center caps were suppose to have a rubber washer/grommet to secure it on, however, the company did not send them. I went to S & K Speedshop and they provided me a set, however, I will let my shop install them.

Both issues should be completed tomorrow and I can attend Waterfest on Sunday.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. Will have better ones tomorrow.

I have a question to ask everyone about the rims... Do you like the rims as is OR should the lip of the rims be polished?

This next picture will show the difference of width between the stock wheels (right) and the new wheels (left):
