    I hardly driver her. Can't really speak. I did spank every car back on the way from PA, though. I think 4 cars in total.

    Got tired of my GTI, but I don't think I'll be modding it for a while (if at all) Just turned my main focus to the b5 since it's new to me. While everyone on here have had their's for a lot longer than me, and have lost interest sadly.

    Update:

    Reconfigured the fueling system in the engine bay to run e85 with braided ptfe lines and Fuelab fpr. Got a brand new CT 5152 triplex billet chra. Nice that they painted it, coincidently matching the engine bay theme . They also ceramic coat/paint the exhaust housing black, but I placed the turbo blanket on it anyways to keep heat down.

    Picked up Piper Street Cams, but haven't installed them. Walbro 274 pump going in the tank soon. Then I just need injectors and retune. Would ideally want to run ID1000s with both a 93 and e85 tune. Will talk more with person who tunes my car as time approaches. Also replaced the driver fender and passenger front door. The Peasant Mobile is back in action .

    Found an awd dyno maybe 10 min from my house. Curious as to what numbers I am putting down. My butt dyno has me in the 350whp range.

    And...turbo blew! Was dialing boost in when I heard the whistle. Boost went lower, then lower, then to nothing.

    Blew the turbo in 3 days? That sucks. Not enough oil or just bad rebuild?

    It was a brand new chra. I still have my old one, but the old one is cast with coolant ports (not in the mood to reconfigure the system again to swap in the old turbo and limp on a beat up old chra, just to reconfigure again once replacement comes in). The one I picked up is a billet one because they don't make the cast ones anymore. Price difference between rebuild or new chra was around the $175 mark.

    I was trying to dial in the boost doing 3rd gear highway pulls, but could not get it to stay a solid 25psi. Meaning, one pull is 26psi tapering to 22psi. Redial, and it would be like a solid 23psi. Redial and then something like 22psi tapering to 20psi, using a Turbo XS HPBC. Next thing you know, that taper worked it's way to zero boost.

    It received oil just fine (assuming because it didn't overheat, going by engine oil temps...till blown). I was driving it fine for a few days now, did multiple WOT pulls no problem (boost not dialed in during this time, but dialed it below 25psi just to drive the car and make sure no leaks and such. then today, decided to dial the boost in). Going to call Comp Turbo on Monday and send it back in for warranty fix. Just sucks because waterfest is this weekend.

    Any update on the warranty work??

    Your one of the few other people I know running a CT.

    Im at 16psi on mine and its pulling great but my boost controller doesnt want to pump it up any more (Gonna change the actuator and reprogram the controller).

    Also did you ever dyno yours?

    I made 250whp at 7psi on mine (5356) and a dismal 290whp at 16psi (on pump, timing kept needing to get pulled) Im looking forward to putting some good gas in and turning up the boost.

    They threw me under the bus. Had to dish out money for another chra and been running on that for a while now.

    Never got my car dynoed, but threw in Piper Cams a few months back. Never changed the tune for it neither, due to simply slacking (got a whole other plan for this). I made a schedule to get my car dynoed last weekend, but I want to replace my knock sensors first (one arrived, and waiting for the other). Then will maybe reschedule to see what she does at the wheels.
