no sure what you mean by "no S," but it all depends on what your goals are, and how long you can wait for the boost to ramp up.

You mean Ko3s? Not worth it.

You could do a Franken Turbo with a front mount, test pipe, injectors, and a tune and be set for a pretty peppy a4.

You need a flux capacitor to get to them.

Does anyone run two high flow cats? I'm running one and it smells pretty bad still, so maybe another hiflow cat will help the rich smell? Or would you say it's the car's tune? 830cc mafless file.

Alright, I will throw my hat into the ring here. So my TB service was done at 73K before I purchased my car. Logic would say that the next service would be right around 150K as that would be an additional 75K, but for some reason I remember hearing people saying that the second service should be done at 125K. I am right around 117K right now. What is the proper interval for the second service?

Unless you are talking about B5 (or B6) 15" wheels fitting a B6 with a 3.0 liter engine. Because that is actually not possible. The V6 has slightly larger front brakes which prevent fitment of 15" wheels. All the rest will interchange, however I'm not certain about a B5 donut spare fitting a B6 3.0.

That's my question: Does a B5 donut spare clear the B6 3.0 front brakes?

also I think if you disconnect the battery and the clock re-sets then the build date is actually what is shown on the display.

how often are you supposed to change spark plugs? i bought my car with less than 50k and im at around 113k and i just changed them for the first time... think that is too long of an interval?

    Question 2
why the hell did i buy a car with such ridiculously expensive parts? I replaced the crankcase breather hose. almost $300 for a damn piece of plastic hose.
I could write something cliché and insightful, but that would be too cliché and insightful.

i've an 02 A4 3.0 and woud like to know if it has the CVT transmission or just the regular automatic? as i can't find this in the manual. and one more thing, i'm using 0W-30 mobil 1 for 3K-4K miles then change it, is that waste of money to do this and i can do it every 10K miles or i'm right?

^ if you can feel (see on your tach) the car shift you do not have a CVT, if you floor it and it keeps going faster with out feeling the car shift then its a CVT, im sure there are other ways to check also

I change my oil every 5K on my turbo car, going every 10k on a n/a seems normal to me as long as you use full synthetic and a nice filter

got another one that might actually be thread-worthy. why the HELL does my car want to pull to the right? alignment was checked and is apparently fine. steering fluid topped off. the front wheels are firmly attached (yeah, i checked). tire pressures equal on all four corners. all i can think of is dragging brakes or time for tire rotation.

I got one... debadged the 3.0 and the Quattro emblems from my trunk 6 days ago and it left unfaded paint under where the badges were. Used goo gone and a compound and it is clean and smooth, but still discolored (or the car is discolored if you want to get technical). Any way to advance the fade or make it less noticeable... or am I looking at either painting the trunk - putting the emblems back on?

torque steer? with quattro? when cruising? it's pointing to brakes still in my mind, since it does seem to get worse under hard braking on occasion.

Check the brake temps with a infrared thermometer after a drive. If one side is dragging it will read hotter.

how bad does it pull, most roads have a crown on them so water runs off, any chance your feeling this?

can also be more noticeable with different tires, I know my BFG's would pull me around more than my Hankooks

As long as you don't have direction tread tires try swapping your front right with your front left to make sure you don't have a tire issue. It's happened to me before. Also, are you comfortable with whoever did your alignment? One of my buddies had an annoying pulling issue. He took it back three times and was assured that the alignment was good. I convinced him to take it to a shop that had a Hunter Sure-Track alignment and Hunter Road Force balancer. The alignment was way off and now his car tracks as it should.

What is "good" gas mileage for a 1.8T? I realize the factory sticker says ~22 city ~29 hwy, but I've read a couple threads where people are complaining about 22mpg. I drive somewhat with a heavy foot and get ~21mpg mostly city. Just curious if I should be getting better or if this is pretty normal.
