Thanks! Obviously my favorite as well. Just dont tell my wife I have two sets! ;)
Yes, the PSS 255 are wider than average. Im actually running 275 PSS on the rear of my M3 so i kind of expected it.
Iv been trying to find a place near me that will pull my fenders, but still nothing. I am only rubbing in the rear a bit on big dips. But that might also be because I have four Miros in the back...
I will probably go with a 245 once these wear out.
Currently I am at -2.7 in the front and -2.4 in the rear for camber with a 5mm spacer in the front to clear the RS4 brakes. Will be reducing to 2mm in the front. There is no spacer in the rear.

Thanks! Just the 5mm in the front to clear the RS4 calipers until my 2mm come in.

Aren't you running RS4 wheels? Why would you need spacer to clear RS4 calipers? Unless those stoptech rotors have a shallower mounting face than stock RS4 rotors ?

Could you try to upload a video? $16 is impressive. Does it have a rubber o-ring? I got a Forge one for around $70, having it installed on monday.

I donít know, mine has been fine so far. I believe the intention of it is to only let some of the air into the atmosphere so that your car doesnít freak out like it would with a BOV.

If you like the sound over performance, go for it.
Without a DV or BOV, in the conditions of high boost and rapid closing of the throttle body, the boost can cause the compressor wheel to rapidly decelerate trying to spin it backwards. This can damage the compressor wheel and the shaft that connects both the compressor and turbine. The difference between the two is with the DV, by rerouting this pressure back to the compressor inlet, it helps keep the momentum of the wheel going, in turn decreasing lag.

Also, with a high flow intake and high boost pressure, your DV makes enough noise as it is to be "cool"

I had one of these for like 6 years I stalked and never had any turbo damage. Just like you I enjoyed the sound but to answer the original question the purpose is get the BOV sound that our cars lack. I enjoyed it. I say go for it.

Believe me if I listened to only the opinions from this forum then my car would be an avant, with LMs or RS4 reps, and probably white because you know #itstheinternetandIcantrollandbetoughwithoutgettin gpunchedinthemouth

What Did You Do To Your B7 Today?..

Imma let you finish...but avants are clearly the best. Itís science.

Also going to a blowoff valve wonít ruin the turbo at all. But it will mess with your fuel trims because youíll be dumping metered air to atmosphere.

Itís not the end of the world but still something to consider.

This one is questionable. I donít know the effects of this but it doesnít sound healthy to the turbo. Youíll get that cool flutter sound buuuutttt....I donít know what else.

Believe me if I listened to only the opinions from this forum then my car would be an avant, with LMs or RS4 reps, and probably white because you know #itstheinternetandIcantrollandbetoughwithoutgettin gpunchedinthemouth

Who said a BOV will damage your turbo?
I was implying that you need one or the other to prevent damage to the turbo.

I seriously hope he plans to relocate the DV or BOV if he installs that. Otherwise THAT will damage the turbo or even break the throttle plate if running high boost pressures.

Would a fordge DV on a stock turbo provide additional BOV compared to the original dv or do u have to add components to get upgraded preformance/ sound like a throttle plate or adapter plate?

Yup. That will totally fuck the turbo.

And throw you into limp mode.

And probably blow your intake piping off.

But, hey, good luck with that.

Traded her for an 18 Accord Touring 2.0T and really missing her! But thankful I still have my MK1 TT 225! Needed something larger for clients and the new A4 optioned up was a bit more than I was willing to spend. Already regretting it
