Neil, it's probably because you have a C6 vs their B8.5. I know my B7 is suuper picky about resistance and bulb-out errors as well :/

I don't see a reason why those wouldn't work on your B8 but I have no reference. Standard H8 / H11 plugs.

Here's a shot of the fogs in action, even though it was 7:30am you can get an idea how bright they are. At night they shine much deeper.

Are these blinding bright to other drivers or are they ok to run with DRL 24/7 if desired. Just curious as I do some research.

Not if you aim them correctly, just like your headlights. I run them in both my cars, no complaints yet.

I run them most of the time in conjunction with the DRL's. No one has flashed their lights at me yet. I should double check my beam pattern like Sean and Neil mentioned.
