This morning ... I drove home from work at 4:00am this morning and It was a 45 minute anxiety attack... actually well over an Hour ( took backroads ) they are safer .
The S4 came with Sumitomo All Seasons from the dealership, I am so ready to neuter somebody there, they are absolutely the worst S--T you could install on anything in New England.
They should not be allowed to be called all seasons. Dry occasionally wet conditions and above 50F is the only acceptable time these tires can be used somewhat safely.

NO .... I have no directional control or worse stopping ability in snow 2" and up... Granted I may be spoiled by having had Michelin Alpin PA3's on the Avant ( past tense ) But even Conti DWS 's were light years ahead of this brand.

But speaking of tires what are you running on that fast citrus ... 19's X 8.00 or 19's X 9.00
the goal is to run 18 x 9.00 on my S4 but I'm not sure it will work and www.willtheyfit still leaves me with questions .

I'd be cool with the surf industry, I did do a little surfing when I was younger. Plus the wagon can carry boards on the inside or on the roof! Yea, I know what you mean. I should probably get to updating my resume, gotta dust the cobwebs off it.

Never surfed with anything longer than a 6'8" and the 7'6" was for the big days...

Here's a cover shot from 96.... taken on Block Island at Southwest Point ...which is a predominant 200+ yard Left. But this is how it breaks when the swell is lumpy. a jacking up short right. It is a point break which connects to a cove to another point break, if it's big enough and offshores are right it connects which then means a 15 minute paddle back to the line up.
( how do I know when and where this shot was taken ???? I was there and lived and surfed there back then ... )



PS I'm sure I'll get some Napalm for this but I was not the 1st to post BI as a primo surf destination... that has been a well known East Coast lore since the 50's and 60's ....

Same locale .... different spot ...Have to make a road trip this year with the Canon DLSR and update ....lol
