Replacing the Battery on a 2006 A6 - What's your experience with Autozone or OReilly

Anyone tried replacing their car battery with an Autozone or OReilly parts dealer?
Do they know how to replace the battery without the need for resetting the car settings?

I can't answer, I don't know.
However, I thought our batteries were chipped and could only be replaced at the dealer?

That ain't what I heard. I heard dealer charges $315 while Autozone charges $125 for the A6 battery in another board.
Just thought I'd hear some more testimonials from people who've done it.

AutoZone Duralast AGM style battery here with zero issues whatsoever.

I pulled the trigger. Took Autozone 15-20 minutes to replace my battery with Duralast Gold for $125. Battery is in the back trunk of the Avant, so it was easy to replace (they didn't even remove the spare tire). I just reset the clock. All other electricals worked fine. When I came home, I pressed Homelink and the garage door opened. The battery has an 8 yr warranty and 3 year replacement.
