The tune needs to be for your hardware.

The t-box Giax xr was initially bought for higher boost with ko3's, so with ko4's with a m-box ecu car it more than likely won't work?

As previously said, you need a tune for the hardware you have. Do not use a stage 1 GIAC tune for k04's.... Your tuner will write a file for the mods you have. I suggest getting a tuner.

Maybe start by listing your mods.

    duud.

You can't just play musical ECU's.

Give box to a tuner along with list of your mods. Then do what they tell you to do.

Why do you want to use an ECU with a stage 1 k03 software on it if you have k04s? I mean you can use software that's for k03s with k04 turbos. But it's not a full stage 3 setup. Some call it a baby stage 3. It's stage 3 minus the fueling aspect side of it. And I think the cars run like crap. Bc k04s flow a little more air than a k03. So essentially youre still at k03 power with k04s and a k03 tune. If you've pulled the motor to do k04s why not go all the way with a full tune for the k04s.
