Problem with my trunk

So iv read a few of the post on here about people having issues keeping there trunk closed in cold weather and some not being able to close theirs, but i wanted to see what you guys thought before i went ahead and replaced the trunk latch. My 2008 audi a4 keeps randomly popping the trunk. it doesnt open all the way but just enough for it to tell me while im driving that its open. I do have 2 10inch subs that might be vibrating it open, but even when the music is turned down it will do it while im driving down the freeway. I have also taken it apart but everything seem to be functioning properly, so what do you guys think? should i just replace it?

There is a little motor that controls the latch. This has always been a common failure item as far as I know. Had this issue on our b6 avant. Check ECS Tuning for the part.

Had the same issue when i bought my car its a really simple fix an the latch doesnt cost much if ecs doesnt have it try europa, the little clips are scary at first but their definitely durable nonetheless save yourself the headache an pick one up when you get the chance

I have the same issue, just haven't gotten around to swapping the latch.

Found this on ebay, claims that it is OEM... Anyone ordered them from China before? It seems a little too good to be true.

Edit: Fuck it, I bought it. It's ~$25. If it's cheap ass fake shit I'll just get a refund, clearly states OEM on the ebay page.

Just wanted to give a heads up and follow up on this, I just received the part from the link above.
It's a genuine OEM Audi part, definitely a nice surprise.

ECS has it for $75 plus shipping ($100ish with shipping)
GAP has it for $58 with free shipping

This guy has it for $30 with free shipping. Pretty good deal as it's half the price of even the cheapest other retailer. If you have a busted latch like me and don't mind the 2.5 weeks for shipping I recommend it.
