probably noone else going to go through the trouble of mounting these wheels on a c5 a6 so i'll be unique in that regard haha...

do your lm reps fit without spacers on the front? I just ordered the privat lm reps 19x8.5 et30 and they told me they wouldnt fit the 2.7t because it wouldnt clear the calipers.

Thanks Franki and others for sharing your setup. I am new to Audi A6 and this forum. Wanted to get ride of the 16" wheels and add new 18" custom wheels. Other than I wanted to do it, I had no clue what to look and how to do it. This thread gives me good direction. Thank you guys, keep posting your setup. Once I am done with my setup I will post it.

Factory 19x9 ET33 A5 speedline wheels. Huncentric adapters from Hartmann/Actuning. New 255 35/19 Continental Extreme Contact DWS.

It's like a new car. Used the old studs, no spacers. Looks fine, fit is great, car actually feels more stable. May just be the feeling, I don't know. But I LOVE them.

The 18x8.5 9 spokes will be for sale shorty. Gonna get them cleaned up.

I thought long and hard about spacers but decided to keep it simple for the time being.

When the DRC finally shits the bed, its getting coilovers and sway bars. KWv3 and Hotchkis more that likely.

I'm thinking about 245/40/19's on a narrow body. I need to buy new tires and the ride on 235/35/19's (with coilovers) is pretty rough. I woudl think with a little more meat on the tires, it would soften the ride a bit. I'm sure I need to replace a few suspension parts too, but wondering if a 245/40/19 would fit on a 8.5 width wheel wiht et35 (or something like that, dont remember the exact offset but it's pretty standard). Anyone have any experience with a 245/40/19 on a narrow body?

John, any more pics of the wheels? I'd like to see some more close ups of the tires to see how much more rubber is on them than a 235/35.

Well, I don't see any Honda fan boy spending that kind of money on a grille..... It's from a 2012 A8 so your saying a $90,000 car looks like an accord?? Maybe if you saw it done you would have a different opinion; or not. Every body has an opinion.... I just don't get yours.

You are right money doesn't buy you love. That eBay link is to a used grill with cracks in it. New I spend around $1400 shipped for the center and both fog light grills and at the time there were none on eBay etc.... I searched high and low for used ones with no luck. Even still I would not go through all this work to put cracked or scratched grills in.

No there's a group around my parts that swap euro front ends and rear ends on there civics. There's a civic that has a BMW 3 series front end and Benz tail lights. Custom swaps will forever be love and hate I just happen to hate it. But I don't have to like it it's your car and your pride and joy to me it's just a pic online.

Nothing, you should be able to bolt a set on and call it a day. Only thing you would have to factor in is.... Are you lowered, and tire size
