I am trying to make some rear spring spacers for my Neuspeed sport springs.

I am trying to make what this guy made

    http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?p=20301991

Does anyone know what the measurments/diameter would be for this spacer?

Any other suggestions would be great

Well considering theirs a grommet on top of the rear spring and under it, I would say that you should take the number of inches you want your car to be raised, divide that number by 2, and subtract that number from the oem grommet to measure your new one.

It's a shame that there are no aftermarket options for this part, it seems the Benz dudes have them tho. I would like a pair, but to lower the rear .5 inches =)

    Interesting:

Without even knowing it, I had the shop at work fab me the exact same spacers out of billet aluminum 2 years ago...cool!

I had some 25mm and 18mm made to go with the stock S-Line rear springs. The 25s are a bit on the high side, 18mm sit just right. (we have an Avant & load it up pretty good, so the rear was sagging too much for my taste)

Do you mind giving a rough estimate of the cost?

would be nice with some 10mm spacers in the rear for the H&R springs, I think the rear gets to low compared to the front with lowering springs :/

I'm just afraid that it would be fucking expensive to have them machined at some metalshop:/

Its going to be Free, because its a relative who owns the shop, but I will ask him how much it would cost to make.

Here are the specs for anyone interested.

To use a 10mm spacer, you would need a modified design. You would also need to modify the rubber bump stop in order for it to work, and fit.

Here are the specs and design for a spacer less than 15mm

I got the specs from Sherman, the guy who made the spacers in the link from my original post.
