    Carbonio filter...

So one day I decide to inspect the filter and notice that the foam is deteriorating as I swipe my finger across it. Foam bits are breaking off and exposing the metal mesh that the foam strip chills on. So I'm not down to buy another Carbonio. The car is at the shop right now because my throwout bearing took a shit and brought down my slave clutch cylinder, pressure plate, and some other misc crap along with it so I don't have access to take the filter measurements. I figured I might as well toss this filter in with the list of parts while the car is down there.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the filter? I was thinking a simple KNN cone would suffice...

This means the PIP C3004 or PIP C302D will fit. (For us traditionalists)

Besides the height difference in between both filters, I also noticed that the 3004's inside H is at 4" while the 302D's is at 1.5". Is this something that I should be worried about in regards to fitment for the previous Carbonio inlet?

I've heard many ppl say that this intake was a huge waste of money... after hearing this, makes me that much more glad I went custom. If the filter fell apart once, I def wouldn't trust a direct replacement. I'd def say get a K&N replacement.
