What price to sell car to get rid of fast? V. 2003 1.8T 5MT, some mods.

Basically I am sick of my Audi. Looks wise it is still in great condition, I'm just absolutely sick of fixing small things and because of this it has just been parked in my garage. It's a Amulet Red 03 with 5MT, coilovers, B7 brakes, stock wheels, FMIC, Neuspeed Exhaust, Stg 3 Southbend Clutch/LWFW at around 100K, other random mods, needs lots of little things fixed, like 2 window regulators. Will have new tires, and I just need to install the 034 Density Motor/Trans mounts I've had for a year. I thought I had oil sludge but I managed to fix that with Seafoam. If I just put it up as is for $5000, think it would go fast? Is that too low? Black Leather, Black piano trim. Carbon Fiber hood painted to match, LED tails. All the cold piping could probably use a refit. As long as it has new tires/mounts get installs it runs. Ac/Heater still blows fine. I've put <50 miles on it in 2011, just driving my 90 Miata. (lol)



I've babied it for the most part since I've had it as far as oil changes go (3k-5k Mobil 1 and lareg filters) but I did them all myself and really have no proof of it. I've owned it since Feb 2008 with 93k miles and it's at 114k now.

I don't know what the market in your area is like, but I just bought my B6 a few months ago, and $5000 seems low-ish. I think it'd still go fast at $6 or $6.5. But again, depends on your area.

I'm not looking to make any money, my area is garbage for selling anything minus cows and trucks. I want to go low enough to have people come to me to get it, tow or whatever. It has issues like I said.

Woops, I read that as "it has had lots of little things fixed. Still, I might aim for $6,000. But to answer your original question, I do think it would go fast at $5,000.

When I put mine up for sale, I got immediate offers for 8K, but nothing above.. which I didn't take but if you want a fast sale try for that.

Too much trouble, no stock parts, I just want it gone. I'd sell it to someone wanting to part it out. It's not done for any means, just needs some work to be back 100%

Damn, some parts I'd love to trade you for stock if I had cash. Too bad your going to sell, these cars have a mind of their own. Some people have amazing luck with them and others seem to have issue after issue. Hope it goes to a good home! GLWS.

Yes I do. :) I loved the car, I just didn't have the time in the last year or so to keep up with it. I've been deployed or TDY half the time and I moved to NM from AZ this past Janurary. Reading these comments does give me hope though, atleast the car is worth more than I knew. I am currently deployed until Jan/Feb, maybe I can keep an eye on the classifieds for stuff to fix my car with. Maybe put it back to stock suspension, as it is incredibly low, lol. One thing I admit was not the best job was putting the FMIC in it, during that install I messed up a couple things like the washer fluid lines

Im offended you don't remember me in the past PM'ing you about turbo builds and other noob questions. I lost the mod bug for the audi because I got a 1990 Miata, lots of suspension goods and turbo'ed. Been a great, reliable car. I always loved my Audi as it is unique, I guess I just don't have the mechanical skills too keep it going perfect.

Ha I'm just giving you a hard time. I'm sure you get a ton of noobs like me contacting you. I'm looking to buying a CPO B8 A4 when I get back :o Trying to figure out all of the options and what not.
