RAI seems to, but their web ordering system also seems to be broken. It won't let me add the stepper motor boost gauge package to my cart, plus it's showing normal ($199) pricing rather than the 20% off deal. :(

Edit: I should update with an account of good customer service on the part of RAI - I emailed regarding the web store issues and only 16 minutes later had an email back from them offering to send me a paypal invoice for the Podi unit at the promotional price.

Greg, I have a few gripes here. With most of these stores being closed Thursday and Friday, what's the point of having a sale that ends during that time? Also, most of these retailers have outdated websites, and some don't even mention your products (Apikol is a great example of this).

We've been promoting the sale for over a week and I made sure to tell people in every post to avoid the rush and get their orders in early. While it does end today, it didn't start today.

Lots of the participating retailers are open for business today, so give them a call and they can take your order. I understand that some retailers don't have everything listed on their websites and that's because most of them do business face to face or over the phone, but they are authorized by us and if you get in touch with them, they can get you any product we offer.

To name a few, RAI, Bag Riders, Apikol, Meister Auto Werks, Matrix Integrated, USP Motorsports will respond to emails and/or answer the phone right now.

I do appreciate your feedback and will make sure to keep all feedback in mind. Please understand that in order to grow, we cannot continue to compete with our retailers and that's why we chose to support their business as well with this sale.

My stepper motor gauge package showed up in the mail today, hooray! (Boo to the mailman for just dropping it outside the door w/o even trying to ring the bell - I'd prefer that it not sit outside waiting to get stolen!) Really impressed with the packaging and overall quality, thanks Podi and RAI! Can't wait to paint it to match my platinum interior and get it installed, but I've got a question - the install guide on a4mods.com doesn't show this part:



Looks like some kind of air filter, but to my novice eyes, the connections *seem* a bit too large for the vacuum lines. What's it for, and where am I supposed to install it? My first guess is that it's supposed to sit between the T fitting and the boost sender, but my first guess is usually wrong with these cars, so any assistance would be appreciated.

That is an inline fuel filter.

It is now included as we have had some customers clog up the boost sender as there was airborne particles in the airstream. The inline filter is to filter out these airborne contaminants.

Do you need to install it for the gauge setup to work? No. If you wanted to install it you put it before the boost sender so you can have a quick visual indication if there is contaminants in the airstream by seeing if the paper filter gets dirty or not.

Will you have this airborne contaminant issue? If you are stock or chipped, probably not. The people that had issues had modified setups and had oil find its way through the vacuum line to the boost sender.
