Had light came on so I filled up on the way to work. Ended up at 28.5 mpg, just over 15 gallons of gas. Definitely surprised at how well it did this weekend.

What's your highway RPMs like with the 0A3 trans? That's honestly not bad though!

What did you do to your B6 today?

And intercooler test fitting. Donít have pics of making the aluminum brackets for the intercooler.

    IMG_3524.jpg

Ran out of pictures...,so I ended up cutting the excess off the brackets on the intercooler. And everything came together great. Needed to buy new screws so the intercooler would be nice and snug with the radiator. I also cut out a hole for a tow hook, no picture of that either.

I may need to bend the brackets a little more inwards towards the engine bay because it is slightly interfering with the lower USP grille. Or Iíll just trim the corners, it wouldnít need that much.

Then after I thought I was done I had a power steering issue. Some of you may have read that thread. Ended up replacing the cooler because I thought I bent the hardpipe a little too far. After that I purged the system. No luck, ended up purging for over 6 hours. Next day I decided to flush the system to see what happens. So far so good fellas! Fingers crossed.

    Nice!

This is a stupid question but how did you get your Display to read those parameters? and could I make that work with my 2.7t swap?

I believe itís aftermarket piggyback unit. I actually have an STE unit for a 2.7 setup. I canít find anything but an old Facebook page and the unit didnít come with any instructions or wiring diagrams. My brother was going to use it on his C5 project before he passed. Now that Iím building the 2.7 Iíll have to start looking into it more.
