I sure hope you have a good jack and a solid set of jack stands when you do the work on your Audi. I wouldn't trust my life on those cheap little scissor jacks in your pictures.

Are you really using the jack on the right rear muffler to to hold the rear end of the car up? That can't be safe or smart. Forgive me if I'm not seeing things correctly.

Look at the tires. The car is on ramps, he's just using the cheap jacks to hold up the exhaust

yeah as vint said, just to hold up the exhaust. Couldn't get to the rear bracket bolts out without more room. My dad took the nice jacks, stands, and tools down to Texas with him when he moved so I am using the bare minimum

Killed a brand new front tire on the way to work this morning when I smacked a fresh pothole. Gotta love the awesome roads here in DC. A$$ fockers.

Snows are back on for the time being.

I was hoping to have some time to do a shoot with my car this weekend, but the last four days have been a disaster for me. I did manage to find 15 minutes to go down the street and snap a few frames though.

Vintage, wow that is really light! I like it. Any shots snapped from the front of the car to show the windshield tint?

It looks a bit darker in real life... Maybe because it also looks a bit more reflective in person? It's hard to catch because it varies greatly on the light. I always drive with the cloth sunroof pulled back, so there's a little bit of extra light in the cabin. I didn't get any good head on shots, I'll try this weekend if I have a minute.

I cut off my stock rear mufflers and welded in a set of Bassani mufflers I had on my old GTO for a temporary fix until I can get an exhaust for a decent price. Took forever to get done and I dropped a tip on my ear and cut it pretty bad.

I did get to enjoy my APR tune after though, and all was well.

FINALLY got my glovebox fixed with some brackets. Man it sucked along the way... Pins to the hinges wouldnt want to come, brackets were too big, brackets too thick, the heads of screws would pop off half way into screwing the brackets down.

But thankfully got passed that... Sprayed it down with some matte black paint and reinstalled it.(Fixed the dampener too). Seems sturdy though, so I hope I won't have to mess with it for a long, long time.

Installed new front rotors and pads, and one new rotor and pads on the rear. Got pwned by the right rear caliper carrier bolts, and ended up stripping one. She's gonna have to go into the mechanic this week to get the last rotor changed.

I almost put mine out of its misery today. 46 degrees this morning. She's showing her age. Tires felt like they were made of wood. Suspension creaking and popping. Gears hard to engage. sigh.

    We have a winner!

Anywho, I'm debating whether or not to cut off the v-shaped part on the left side of the chrome. I would prefer it, but kinda want to avoid the hassle of dremeling it off, using plastic repair, then sanding, primer etc just to get that little bit off.
