Does Anyone Have Experience With This....

Found this doing a search and was wondering if anyone has experience with this FMIC kit. The price is right and the kit looks to be decent quality. Any feedback anyone?

I have used a numerous amount of FMIC's in my lifetime so to me it sometimes comes down to the quality of the hoses that each company uses. Few times I winded switching them for SAMCO hoses, they are great quality and don't deteriorate as fast.

I was referring to the whole kit itself. Bronx Car Guy, you say you've used numerous kits before, what can be expected in the difference in let's say this kit compared to maybe something like the Ecode tuning kit. I'm just mainly concerned in the performance differences if there is any. This one I linked before seems decent for the price, I was just looking for more of a review type of response. Did you notice any major difference between a kit of this caliber vs a kit costing $1,000? Besides the price of course. Plus you noted on the quality of the actual hoses, did you mean the aluminum piping vs stainless? Not sure if I'm understanding what you meant.

It depends on what you expect this kit to cool down. It will be fine for a simple K04 but I wouldn't use it for anything else besides this. I have a cxRacing core in my room for $50. Was used to mock up and that was it. Brand new, never ran.

Anyhow, I would look for something else.

I have a cxracing fmic and I made my own piping. The quality of the intercooler seems solid and it's definitely sufficient for my setup, although my intercooler is a little bit bigger. I don't have logs or anything, but I can tell you I rarely get any heat soak

It is your basic low density core. Fine for a k03/k04 but don't expect miracles from a Core like that.

^^ That's fine, I'm curently running a ko3, no software or anything. Just looking to get some more efficiency from my turbo system. Viceprp, you have the core, do you have the plumbing? Android3000, how did you make your plumbing? If I bought vice's core, I would love to make piping...
