Yes, it's probably a good preventative maintenance task even if it's not the problem. I just pulled it all out and thoroughly cleaned everything. I got a bunch of caked oil out of the elbow leading into the crankcase and the pancake valve.

I replaced all mounts on my 09 A4 B8, and I still feel vibration on D and R when stopped with the brake say at a stoplight or something. By all mounts I mean both motor mounts and a trans mount. After I changed the motor mount the vibration slightly diminished, I was hoping it would go away from the trans mount replacement but there was no change after replacing it. Also I put a transmission mount insert together with the new trans mount. Anyway, vibration is still there while on gear. What else could it be? Could it be the transmission mount insert? Haven’t tried pulling it out to see how it’ll respond.
