    Carbon inserts come off???

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
In the rear on the side panels (interior) my car has carbon inserts what come off...
Seems like that the carbon is only sticked to a base and now the two parts separate...on both sides!

The same parts on the front panels have no issue.

Did somebody had the same problem and what has been done?

Do I need new inserts or can this be glued? ....the carbon looks still fine...

I think you are talking about the "belt line trim." Should be under your original warranty if that has not expired.

Unfortunately the warranty has expired. I just bought this 2008 S5....warranty was only 2 years and the previous owner did not extend it.
The two inserts come to approx. 550US$ when checking some OEM shops....

Would be interesting to know if others had the same issue?
