Coolant seals under the intake manifold...

Ok, so I did the aux pump for a friend of mine a few months ago but there was still a small leak. I noticed that the right seal into the block was leaking so I pulled the hose out and replaced it but I figured I might as well do the left side as well. I pulled the 4 bolts out of the back of the heads and even the 13mm in the front of the driver's side head but I still can't get the left hose out enough to put the new o-ring on it. Am I missing something? I don't want to tweak it and I'd rather replace all the seals while I have the intake mani off.

    TIA
