Decided to go with the K04 setup from EPL

I just ordered the K04/Fueling setup that EPL is offering at a great price. I figured it would be a more suitable route for my A6 DD, and for $4k I don't think I can go wrong. I will keep the spare block and other goodies for my 770 build for another future project (possibly B5 S4 track car). I'll keep you guys posted with pics when I get the stuff.

Honestly, I doubt you'll be disappointed with KO4's for a dd. Occasionally I wish that I had more oomph on the top end, but I wouldn't trade that the driveability you get out of these turbos. Honestly, most days I don't hit a ton of boost, because there is enough torque down low that I don't have to juice is just to get going.

Good choice, I turned down the new VAST gt600 kit and went with FT's on the S4, the K04 turbos are perfect for daily driving.

Running an amd fairly basic tune at the moment. It's definitely quick, but I know it has a lot more potential. I'm going to have Jason dyno tune it once I get a few more things done.

Once you feel an EPL K04 car, you'll be very satisfied with the power.

My Cobra put down 600+ rwhp and ran 10's. I rode in Rich's S4, and got nervous he was going to want to do a pull. I've never been nervous about losing a highway pull in my Cobra until that thing.

Congrats! You will love it. Can't go wrong with EPL. Are you going with W/M injection. I went from 350 whp (RS4 intercoolers no meth) to 427 whp with ER intercoolers and meth.
