    Starting Issue - Fuel Related

Been having an issue now for the past 2 weeks with my 07 2.0T where it will not start when its cold. I've tracked it down to the fuel not priming on startup. If I turn the key off and on about 10-20 times, I will hear the pump finally prime and the car starts right up. Then it continues to fire up just fine until its cold again.

My question is, is this an easy fix? Is it just a matter of replacing the fuel pump, or is it some other part like a primer or low pressure pump? The engine kind of hesitates/misses at idle sometimes, which makes me wonder if there is a low pressure pump, as its fine under WOT (and I have all new coil packs, so its not those). Couldn't find this exact problem when I searched, so any advice is appreciated.

it should prime when you open the door, it sounds as if the fuel pump itself is ok, but possibly the link or fuse that alerts the pump to prime when the door opens is corrupted

could be the pump or one of the fuel module
