all maintenance up to date. all was well. was in boost at high speed and just like that, the dentist drill. (never ever heard any kind of progressing noises).
pulled over, nothing obvious wrong. drove to work and smelled oil burning ( not exhaust smell, like oil dripped on hot header), noticed oil around my new ( and had never leaked) oil cap. lots of crank case pressure. frigin cap was doin the jig! no exhuast smoke/smell.
so bad pcv/pvr, could that kill the turbo, or is it just a coinsidence?
and what kind of piece of shit turbo only last 187,xxx!

maybe the high pressure cracked off a piece of crud, and blocked off the oil feed restrictor. that would be gay.
so bent over buying a block or just frankin/eliminating it!
im so waiting for a quatro tdi a3 to come out!
