I need to get my car tinted, but am a little concerned about a TSB that Audi has out there now. It is for all models and states that if a car was recently tinted and there are any issues with any electronics in the doors that they won't cover it under warranty. They instruct the tech to look for any water intrusion in the door.

wow..i had no idea there was a TSB for stuff like this..but i don't think its too uncommon for a manufacture to void a warranty if there appears to be water damage. i have a friend who had an issue with his rear speaker and the work was not covered because they found water once they opened it up

gringoloco, i think if you go to a reputable tinter, you should have no issues. i was watching the guy tint my car and he barley used any solution/water..the tint still came out perfect.
