2000 S4 6 spd with P1137 & P1139 Code any ideas what the problem is?

Hey everyone-I'm new to this forum and a new 2000 Audi S4 owner. I am having 2 codes come up: P1137 and P1139 and I'm looking for guidance on where to start looking for the problem. Any ideas? My name is Mike and any help would be appreciated!

I am also looking for an upgrade in suspension, so if anyone has anything available, I'm ready.

    Thanks! Mike

I had the same codes and it was an O2 sensor. Was told at the time it also could have been the MAF but swapping the O2 fixed it

Was it one O2 sensor or both?

So...is it just O2's...could it be a dirty MAF Sensor or even a boost leak. I'm asking because I was told the O2's were changed less than 5000 miles ago. I just bought the car.

    Thanks!

Unless the previous owner can provide actual documentation of parts replaced always assume it hasn't been done.

We have new o2 sensors available below.

Any idea how hard these are to change. My car has aftermarket downpipes.

    Thanks!

O2s fail left and right in these cars. FYI don't clean your Bosch MAF on your 2000. They don't like it. Only the hitachis like to be cleaned.

I think you just saved me! I bought MAF cleaner last night and was going to give it a shot tonight! Thanks! There's no chance the MAF is the problem? It has a K&N Filter on it.
