Finally ready for JHM tune

Got my ECU out after sawing on the damn chastity belt for about 30 minutes. Tried slotting the screws like the JHM video tells you to do and after I slotted them perfectly I couldn't get either screw to budge for the life of me, and I thought the downpipe manifold bolts were hard to loosen. So instead I cut the underside at the metal strap and pried the ECU out.

Anyway, I'm really hoping to send it out first thing tomorrow morning to JHM and I was thinking I could UPS next day air saver it and have them do the same back to me to get it back on Thursday possibly, or worst case on Friday. Anybody with experience have good luck with this method? next day air saver is a lot cheaper than next day. How did you pack your ECU when you shipped it? I had a small box from a recent delivery I thought I would just pack it in with a bunch of paper and filling and send it like that, will that work ok?

Also, I saw a while back JHM was out of parts to do the tune, anybody happen to know if they "have the parts" by chance?

i sent mine on a tuesday with 2 day fedex and they had it at my door friday when i got home from work...and i live in georgia. i dont know how they pulled it off but its was awesome. got to toy around over the weekend before the chains went all outa wack.

I did 2 day Fedex as well. Much cheaper than overnight. USPS Express is pretty quick but you're taking a gamble with them losing your shit. Last I heard, they have the chips right now, but call and make sure. I'm assuming you already bought the tune on their site? They will send you an email to not send your ECU if they don't have them in that case.

Getting the chastity belt off was a pain in the ass on mine too. My screws wouldn't budge either. Oh well. You don't even need to re-use that chastity belt/cradle when you re-install the ECU. Just plop the ECU on there and call it a day.

Well, I would much rather pay for 2 day shipping if I could still get it back this by Friday, way cheaper. What return shipping did you guys use to get it back from JHM? Also, did you guys value it at 500$ with fedex when it shipped? Thanks for the suggestions.

I valued it at 1000 since that's what they actually cost if you need to buy a new one should it get lost. I have JHM send it back 2-day
