Question H&R OE spring install - any pointers from installers?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Purchased a set of H&R OE springs. Looked over the diy but Im not 100% comfortable with install (I do my own oil/filter, brakes/pads so I am relatively mechanically inclined)

I am looking for someone that can give me a hand (with a $$$ payment of course). I am able to drive to Cincinnati OH, Columbus OH, Lexington KY and surrounding areas. I would be a 2nd set of hands to help.

    Anyone interested? pm me

check the regionals. (someone told me to do that when i was looking for help, found some people to help for alittle $) Id say find a place or person that will just do it for u for cheap.. I did my h&r sports last weekend.. it was such a pain.. I actually gave up after the fronts.. but granted I am 120 pounds weak as shit and did it alone.. It was more time consuming then anything, the process wasnt hard and that A5/S5 DIY was super helpful.. I would for sure get some help with it... cant tell u much about the rears, i am paying someone $100 to do them for me

    good luck!!

Mine was done in a friends shop so i helped with him. I would NEVER attempt this alone on without a lift and good spring compressor. The fronts are not too bad, but getting the stock springs out of the rear was a pain! Even with compressing the OE springs. I would imagine it would take me 9 hours if i didn't have a lift or a good spring compressor.

The rears are easier step wise, but requires a little more grunt/use of a pry bar. The fronts are easier, but require a lot more steps.
