I work for AutoZone. I haven't seen any come back with any issues. How much are they asking? Is there a Duralast Gold option?

Last time I checked it was 185 plus core. Beats the hell out of 300+ every where else. The dealer wanted 404. I a$$hole laughed in his face. I didn't see a gold option.

Ya sounds like a good idea. I boughtthe car last week. The dealer had a reman put on it which was bad after 2 days of driving it. Pita....but if I bring them back the one on the car within 60 days they can refund me 110. Which is twice the core charge at autozone. Plus my uncle works there and I get 25% off the part.

Yea, I don't like duralast products. IMO they are junk and would advice to stay away. My buddy had to replace his duralast alternator every two months or so lol.. (made a good use of the warranty), but a different thing went out in them everytime (noisy as hell, housing cracked, not putting out propper voltage, etc).
    Ohh the b5...

Any brand like duralast that has to tell you it's long lasting or premium in its name is cheap Chinese junk to avoid.
