Installed my coilovers this weekend along with new lower control arms and tie rods. Now after I drive a couple miles my abs and ESP! lights come on. What did I do? My alignment is really off, but I don't think that would cause it? Bonus points to who can tell me what size spacer I need to run for my oem rs6 5 spokes!

Hmmmm I'll have to double check the speed sensor, I remember checking the drivers side but don't recall checking the passenger. The alignment is BAD, so it's possible that is it? I don't wanna pay for an alignment until I get my 18's on and adjust my ride height, which requires purchasing and waiting for spacers. I appreciate the help!

Look into places that have specials for multiple alignments. I know some places even offer lifetime alignments for as long as you own the car. Depending on how long you were planning on waiting, it might be worth it to just get a quick alignment... even if it's not perfect, it might be a very good idea.

This a great idea. I could purchase the lifetime alignment from a local chain. The thing is there is a local guy that does only alignment and suspension tuning that I want to take the car to so I can get dialed in perfect. Hes not going to give lifetime alignments so I don't want to take it to him til I have the new wheels on. The moral of the story is I'm a dumbass and should have ordered the spacers when I ordered the suspension. I think I just have to suck it up and drive with a shitty alignment for a couple weeks until I get my spacers. I work from home so I don't put too many miles on my car, and if it eats the tires a bit I don't care because I have a new set of wheels and tires going on shortly.

A bad alignment will eat through your new tie rod ends quickly
