Before I go back to the dealer with my tail between my legs, I have to give this one more try. I've run through the guides on audizine on getting at the coilpacks, and everything is fine, but the damn harnesses are impossible to release from the coilpacks. I press the bar shaped tab away from the coilpack? Or down as if into the plastic harness ? Should I use something solid like a screwdriver cuz my fingers are not cutting it. I have managed to release one of 8 so far, and that was by accident it seems.. the others are just not budging. Any tips? (squeezing the harness towards the coilpack doesn't do crap it seems)

should be down on the tab, but make sure you push the connector up into the coilpack as you do it. Its like a lever with a hook on the end, it needs to be pushed up so the hook will clear.

There's a tiny slot on the connector. If you put a small flathead screwdriver in and slowly push, it should slide off. Don't overdo it, they're not supposed to be difficult to unclip.

Here are the instructions from my Bentley manual: 'Push connector - 1 - toward ignition coil, press on catch with hand and remove connector.'
So if you push the connector toward the ignition coil you relieve the pressure on the catch/tab. In some cases i was able to press on the catch with my finger. In some cases i gently used a screwdriver to press on the catch. As was stated above, if you use the right technique it comes off very easily. Good luck.

You remove the two torx bolts holding the harness in right?
