There must be a ton of under performing ones out there from carbon issues. I watched one recently run 98mph on one run (had a bad shift) and then 103mph on another run with good launch and shifts and couldn't believe the "lack of performance" since that is barely different than a B6/7 S4 along with my previous expectation of seeing 108-111 flash on the board at the end of the track. I love the look of the RS4 and the differences between it and the S4 but it needs a supercharger to become a badass car all around. 112mph is pretty decent compared to most other cars but for being a flagship model I would want it to be running over 115 in the 1/4 with all kinds of bolt ons and lightened parts (rotors). The APR supercharger cars represent what an RS4 should be, bad ass looks, sound and high performance to go along with it which I am sure JHM will also have supercharged stuff rolling around before long.
Some what agree but not sure.
The APR S/C cars are going 12.0 116/7 The JHM N/A cars for 10k less are going 12.2 112/3 So I would say the S/C isn't what makes them a good car.
Stock the RS4 has always been a 13.0/12.8ish car. 103/106
Impressing to one person might be different. I think the RS4 is impressive for what it is. ITs still a 4.2 motor as the S4 its just more efficient.
I do agree with the fact that JHM has a S/C in testing right now on three in house car. I would think the RS4 will be propelled to new heights.
