That is awesome. Did JHM come up with a solution for the carbon build up?

For some reason I have always been under the impression that RS4s ran around 110-111mph in the 1/4 stock. I saw a couple listed in the 110-112 range on dragtimes.com with minor mods or stock not couting the JHM car but most showing closer to 105 was a bit of a shock and let down.

There must be a ton of under performing ones out there from carbon issues. I watched one recently run 98mph on one run (had a bad shift) and then 103mph on another run with good launch and shifts and couldn't believe the "lack of performance" since that is barely different than a B6/7 S4 along with my previous expectation of seeing 108-111 flash on the board at the end of the track. I love the look of the RS4 and the differences between it and the S4 but it needs a supercharger to become a badass car all around. 112mph is pretty decent compared to most other cars but for being a flagship model I would want it to be running over 115 in the 1/4 with all kinds of bolt ons and lightened parts (rotors). The APR supercharger cars represent what an RS4 should be, bad ass looks, sound and high performance to go along with it which I am sure JHM will also have supercharged stuff rolling around before long.

Bad carbon buildup can sap 20% or more of the power, which basically takes it back to S4 levels of power output.

Well it does suck alot of power but i dont think it gets quite to S4 levels. Sakimano was a good 2-3 tenths of a second faster then me all day at the track in his bone stock, fully carbonated RS4 and im far from stock.

That's true, too. My point is merely that a modded S4 against a crippled RS4 isn't that un-fair of a fight.

It was an impressive run for sure. Add in LW wheels and rotors and he could probably shace a tenth or two off imo. Exciting times for the RS4 are officially here.

Some what agree but not sure.

The APR S/C cars are going 12.0 116/7 The JHM N/A cars for 10k less are going 12.2 112/3 So I would say the S/C isn't what makes them a good car.

Stock the RS4 has always been a 13.0/12.8ish car. 103/106

Impressing to one person might be different. I think the RS4 is impressive for what it is. ITs still a 4.2 motor as the S4 its just more efficient.

I do agree with the fact that JHM has a S/C in testing right now on three in house car. I would think the RS4 will be propelled to new heights.
If you don't have haters, then you're not kicking enough ass.

JHM powered 12.2 On the JHM Tune With Launch Assist for the Automatic JHM Nitrous kit/JHM headers all this in a Automatic.

And lastly for the grammar police that are bound to step in
I came here from Germany in the 6th grade. I could not read or write a lick of English. I am working to get better. Thanks and sorry. I always try to edit my posts for the best grammar and easiest reading.

I think you meant to say JHM has a S/C that is in testing mode on "their" in house RS4. Not on "three" in house cars. Correct? Dan will be testing the S/C on his car only in the immediate future.
