Yeah I had them for about 6 months, I cracked one of my oem rims and bent another one. Not sure if my suspension wasn't set up right or not but the shop that did the work told me they set the dampening as soft as possible but still a rough ride. For just track use I would say yes, other than that no unless the roads where you live are perfect.

We've sold and installed hundreds of TEIN SS, but not on the Audi platform. Most Audi owners go for H&R or KW or Bilstein but TEIN is one of the premier manufacturers of coilovers. The TEINs offer a reasonable ride height range, high quality, rebuildable dampers, and damping that can be set to full soft so that ride comfort is maintained. And they actually give you instructions and a starting point (recommended ride height drop), which H&R and Bilstein refuse to do.

I had SS' on my B6 and loved them. They go super low, ride nicely and are well built. However, a lot of people complain that they're too stiff, but that was why I liked them because I usually run really aggressive wheel/tire setups.

No more Audis, but I can't seem to leave this place.
