Brake rubbing / squealing near full lock

So it seems that my car has developed a nice squeal when i cut the wheel pretty much 85% to full lock only left. I suspect it is the inside turning brake setup as the sound is cylindrical in nature... sort of an audible peak whilst turning. ... ANYWAY... does this seem like a stuck caliper? I did have some challenges breaking my caliper bolts free changing brakes, but don't see how that would be involved... if anything, i suspected the beefy mintex pads are simply 'rubbing' or overly dusty (although tried to wash car / wheels / brakedust)... they are zimmerman rotors and mintex red pads.

odd part is that if i gently apply the brakes it will quiet, but sometimes extensively squeak/squeal... is this just the downside to the brake dusting mintex pads? could it be a physical caliper issue? seems odd, but if i drive in a circle left, it sounds like train squealing on it's tracks....?

Caliper slider stuck? would it cause some 'rubbing'?? ? odd part is that touching the brakes makes it go away, so i'm pretty confident the pads are rubbing... just don't understand why it only happens full turn??

it doesnt... so how about this... is this correct:

during a low speed turn, does the audi apply the brakes to slow the wheel to account for quattro? I could see it affecting a slight turn if the brakes themselves are the issue? I will take it apart this weekend and see. I know squeaky brakes are common on these cars, but do people with that issue experience them during a slight slow turn?

i have the same problem with my A4. crank it all the way to the left and apply the brakes ever so slightly and I get a very loud squeal but only when the car is in reverse

If I'm stationary and turn the wheel left or right to the 'almost' extreme sides it produces a pretty mean squeal but once I get moving it's tit.
When I did the TB/WP I noticed there was a small bit of play in my PS pully.. most likely the pump will go one day. Oh well, luckily it's only like a 2-3 hour job.

word... not the full lock turning stress on the power steering. good call though.

definitely a squealing of the brakes? I am going to try to remediate that, but never had an issue with zimmermans and mintex like this before, even on this same car... so it makes me wonder if the caliper is hanging up? or something on light pressure braking, but if you hard press, it grabs.

but if i turn at slow speeds with NO BRAKES, it squeals... so I was curious if this was the behavior of the AWD system.???

Tore the drivers side down to the caliper... pads wore OK but were dusty for sure... break-in and seating appeared to work good, no grooves or gouging. Mintex pads are dusty... basically confirmed torque... cleaned up the dust... sprayed everything down and confirmed that the caliper carrier looked good... since re-install, no squealing... although we've had damp or rainy weather recently.

squealing at full lock was the brakes lightly applying for the turning radius.

squealing at low speeds with car weight on the front (downhill) seemed to be more prevalent than any other direction / stopping situation.

So far issue resolved... could have just been some loud dusty pads?
